Thought I could steal one while resting a couple starters. I have no chance in my cup game, so I figured starting regular season was a good idea. Usually as the season wears on, my team gets better and better, while other teams either get worse, or don't improve as quickly as me. Early season is my only struggle, so it's therefore pretty important I win a few early games. Especially newly promoted, with my starting lineup not fully purchased yet. Still have 3 starters to buy.

Yea man... I thought I had that game locked once I knew I had the correct guesses and 3-2 on my side. TOs and FTs were obviously bad, though I'm not sure why they got as bad as they were as I had a 5, 6 and 6 FT guys go 3-10 and one of my bigs with the 5+ TOs has 7 HD, 7 DR & 7 PA. The ratings all seemed superior on my end. My strong(low) outside defense seemed pretty ineffective against his strong(high) outside scoring while my strong(low) inside scoring wasn't as effective against his average(medium) inside defense. I also have no idea how Peoples shot so poorly either, he's one of my best players. Really frustrating game...

Perhaps I've been overvaluing using extra enthusiasm or I just am unlucky to have everyone giving extra effort to beat me. I guess the bright side is that I've lost to 3 of the top 4 squads and beat the other one so I'm not in as bad of shape as things may seem. Not yet at least, hah.
