I think it is, the two rookies that got selected from my team at PG were better Defenders than their O skills, it may not be the case, but just my observation over a while.

I think the top few teams are about right I agree, just remains to be seen who spends and goes for it, I'm not sure my young guys are ready for the rigors of Div II just yet though, so I'm not sure I will make any changes, but if I win through with my current squad then I will have to figure out a plan for next season.

Well I was kinda bummed out when I couldn't get a 2nd real trainee this season, but altogether it's been a very successful season for THYGA.
Raking in almost $200k per week is just what the Doctor ordered. Sitting around $11mil again.
My trainee has got a bunch of pops (7 so far, mostly single pos training)
My team is $880 above the salary floor and we're over 10w - 9L.
If I can manage this type of lifestyle for another season, I'll have closer to 14mil and will then look to take over the world. :D
bahahaha

congrats to whomever is actually doing well.. I haven't been paying much attention I'm sorry.

Can I ask a question what is everyones weekly wages? I must be the only one not making money in this game I swear. I understand my arena is tiny and I need to improve that but making 10000 a week which is what im doing at the moment is not going to get it bigger any time soon. Any help of advice would be great?

Expenses Revenue
Player Salaries: $ 84 762 Attendance: $ 182 445
Staff Salaries: $ 54 302 Merchandise: $ 36 480
Scouting: $ 20 000 TV Contract: $ 77 030
Total: $ 159 064 Total: $ 295 955

You're in the tougher division but if you buy smart and set your seat prices carefully, that will definitely help.

Also I find that having a more balanced team typically wins you more regular season games - though I end up getting crunched in the playoffs (just like my favourite team, Atlanta!).

Edit: although I just noticed how small your arena is. It takes money to make money so you'll just have to bite the bullet and take a bigger financial hit now...but still do it step by step (just 1 bigger step before the new season)

Yeah your arena is way too small... increase it bit by bit over the next season, do it in increments that will take "7 days to complete" that way your upgrades will be ready every week for increased income.

Thanks. What's a small increase though?

You can use this site to get an idea on arena management http://www.buzzer-manager.com/

However I'd just build it like 250/100/25/5 at a time or something like that.

Hey guys,

Am I loosing out because my salaries add up to 58000 but it takes out 77000? Does that mean I should just recruit people and effectively pay them nothing because I'm already paying?

Yeah you can do that.

Basically there is a salary floor, to stop people from running teams with 3 $1000 players all season.
If you think it will help your team to have another 19k in salaries actually playing, and the capital outlay to purchase those players then by all means do so.
But if your team is going to be in a losing situation regardless, I'd just save the money that you would otherwise spend on new players
