I hear you, and you make some great points...I just feel that $10 mil could/should go a lot further than landing two players.

All I know is if I were sitting at the top of the league, and I knew a guy had $10 mil, I would be nervous that I could be knocked off my perch....but after seeing $10 mil spent that way, I'd be relieved :-)

Like A-Dub said, he's not finished yet....so we'll see how it finishes up. My prediction at this point, is unless one of the top 5 teams in the Great 8 from last season decide to sell off or pull back this season, Upsyndrome will be playing in the relegation series at the end of this season.

Nothing against A-Dub, I think he's a great addition to the NBBA! Great personality, and gotta love a guy who comes out swinging....I'd love to see him stick around....I just think he mortgaged the future for short term moves that don't guarantee a playoff spot, let alone give Magiker any reason to be nervous.

But, like i have said many times before...the awesome thing about BB, that makes playing this game for years possible, is that there is more than one way to have success in this game :-) It's not just a cookie cutter approach to winning.

I'm actually proud that I was able to get a NBBA championship without ever having to tank/relegate to accumulate cash or snooker newbies into paying me millions for bad players. I understand that this is primarily a cash management game and there are teams that tank/transfer to accumulate $10-$20 million to buy the (for me) unattainable skill players; and likely next season, I'll have to sell off and tank myself down to III or IV, just to get new trainees and cash to build.

My team has been built around my trainee, Crowe, and careful bargained purchases over the years. Those bargains seem impossible to find now, so the Horde's time may have come.

wow. Carlton and Luna out on fouls in less than a half.

i wonder if that is related to the fact the refs are Xtc's brother-in-law and roommate from college. i saw the three of them sharing some beers before the game at Hooters.

Arizona shoots 57% in the first half and lead by 2...that's concerning!

I really like the combination of Hunt and Bowens playing together. Combine them with Meeks and that's a frontcourt that most of us should envy. If only you could have gotten Bello too. The things that could have been...

Nah...Luna, Carlton and Blocker are all foul prone. Luna, however, is a starter and is one of my 4 trainees. It's a shame, I'm leaning towards parting ways with him.

This is only going to get worse with new rules. I can't wait when a nt player costs 10 million /s

Since all of you guys seem to have Floyd Mayweather-type money to spend, I just wanted to point out that Riley Rojas (29558979) is averaging 46 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists, 6 blocks and 3 steals per game this season. Send me offers and don't be cheap, I've gotta feed the family!

On a related note, those of you who play me early in the season might run good... I sold a couple players last season with the intention of replacing them this offseason but the prices are so absurd that I haven't been able to fill those spots yet. Hopefully I can find a couple "deals" that don't cost me my entire pool of cash.

you not being able to buy will help balance out A-Dub being all to able to buy just before i play you both.

the cosmic calculus gets more complex, though, if we realize you played the Anteaters just after they cleared out McCready, Anderson, and Moore hours before they faced you.

regardless, i hope your shopping takes at least another week. everybody knows the prices drop precipitously the after the second update of a new season.

Much like the acquisition of Bowens, anxiety was in full effect as I awaited the arrival of NT legend Kris Hunt. Seasons before, It was a mere pipe dream combining these two forces to play together for my basketball club. I'm elated to have them both here. Ten million or not, their presence is priceless. I wouldn't have it any other way. Now to finish this conundrum that is building an NBBA contender.
