By the way, keep in mind that there is a soft skill/salary cap on players (based on their Potential rating. The best high-potential players in the game are starting to reach this cap (though not top potential players quite yet).

We have designed the Potential system to ensure that there are a limited number of "top" players with top salaries.

Hope this answers the question!

Edit: reworded for clarification.

thx a lot for the repsponse :) I think that will help, because i know now you calculate thetop salarys in way they could be paid, because as i said before i was a bit afraid that this soft cap his so high that a normal div one club can not pay those salarys of one of them.

that just gives me more questions,
is allstar- potential not good enough? so 5 seasons training for my top-players wasted?
and is the softcap for all skills together or just for single skills.

I assume that if someone expand his arena have the safety to load it with some determined ticket prizes, otherwise is useless build more seats.
I know that it is not automatic the relationship

I didn't.

I overbuilt my arena for reasons not strictly related to revenues.

And what are the other reasons to overbuild our arenas?Just for curiosity

How the soft cap works is a factor that we're leaving up to the community to figure out. So, my stance is that you might want to look at both skills and salaries, though I'm not guaranteeing it's based on both :-)

As for the Allstar* potential, it's (a) high on the potential scale (we chose Allstar for this reason), and (b) still never a waste -- there will always be a demand for well-trained players, and you can sell them and buy higher potential players with slightly lower skills.

I've reworded my last post for some clarification, but I would advise you to start a discussion thread dedicated to figuring this one out :-)

Thats no good idea!
Please leave it like it is. I mean: Everybody knows, that if you have f.ex. an Center with inside skills with a sum of arouund 50, he´ll be expensive. If you´d make a sallerylimit somewhere over here, everyone would have sooner or later the sme player. Right now everybody hast to think, which skills he want´s to "pay" for his player - and that´s great and makes a lot of fun in BB, and everybodY has different players!

not when the salary limit is pretty high ;)

And i was still thinking, that 200k will be a lot for a team even in future, but could be paid from a team which wouldn't go bancruptcy for a nationalplayer or waste their money in holding him some weeks till he get to another team which uses their money put aside

what about the same procedure like it is with the potential: When a huge salary is reached, the speed of the wage raises slows down..
