All of my starters made a 3 pointer. That's not too unusual, I guess. But my youngest starter was 41 years, the oldest is 58 (TSP: 9).

Pretty amazing to see on Buzzerbeater but its not the first record you've had with your 1st and 2nd team playing each other, does that not count as setting up a game to break a record?

Maybe i'm just being cynical.

I guess. But how is that different from 2 people agreeing on tactics before a game? Which happens all the time. Especially in scrimmages/PL.

Many of the previous records involved lucky fans, among other things. It seems strange that you'd deem records with only 3 players on a team as legitimate, but cast a pall on this. Oh well...

Because you can do the correct game predictions, impact enthusiasm for both teams, set the lineups for both teams. You can basically make the game engine do crazy things.

Not having a go at you bud, just takes away some of the 'oh my god how did that happen' form records.

just takes away some of the 'oh my god how did that happen' form records.

That part's fine. It's all good.

You can basically make the game engine do crazy things.

You can't though? (& anyone can collaborate on lineups / tactics. Heck, even some Mods & GMs used to do it regularly)

Ok a sincere question. Let's take the game you originally replied to. My Utopia team sucks. And a few $2k-$3k scrubs all played 20+ minutes in that game. Like this guy: (38306432) . Specifically, what crazy thing can you do with a $2k PF? Plus a couple $3k scrubs along side him? Does simply knowing position & tactics turn scrubs into NT caliber players suddenly???

Hypothetical:
So let's say that I had instead played a random team with all players making between $50k - $200k. Are you really saying that would give you more of an " 'oh my god how did that happen" feeling? See, that's what I don't get. Neither of these should then! Nor should a badly mismatched CT vs. TIE game, or a $200k monster vs a lucky fan. They're all a farce to some extent. Anyway, with my group of elderly players it's more about how terrible they are than it is the opponent.

TLDR - it's all good. but don't get the" make the game engine do crazy things" point. please teach. no snark on my part.
