and he had a deep roster, so maybe the point that he could play a short rotation cause of his small nation.

For me that have something todo with being smart and fast, which was the base for his succes.

Today beeing a small country club, really have many other strategic choiches then a mid size or big country(pro and cons, while sadly a small form of tanking and still beeing succesful on national stage is the pro).

Does anybody remember in which season new GE was introduced? As I remember him mainly as a king of old GE. And also I remember several his games in new GE lost by bad tactical choice ...

the main reason why Torooo was so good for such a long period of time was B3 mode. It was not arcade mode (minutes counted to training) so he could afford more trainees than anyone else so the gap between him and the rest was enlarging (he could play his weaker players in canadian league). No one else could afford that much trainees at that level that time (becose he had money already for being succesfull for beginning). He idi great at the beggining and after that he had easier way so it lasted for 4-5 season if i remember right. legend though..

No doubt that I would have a tougher time in a bigger country. I don't recall ever being worried about a DII or DIII team in the cup, and there was a bit of a drop off after Random Noise. That gave my team an econ advantage to most teams, all things being equal, although I am sure my more limited time on line resulted in normally having to go above bargain market prices - thus eliminating much of the econ advantage (i.e., only finding one player to bid a week where I could be on line at the right time). Even my great coup of getting Marcum/Vyberal while selling three middle of the road players was an expensive proposition.

As for tactics, I had two base offense losses that probably were a bit ill-advised, but other than that, I spent my last few seasons in Canada trying to perfect Princeton. While I had a few good wins (25684526), I was never able to get the right players to make a successful run with it, especially when teams would purchase $300k+ mercenary guards right before matches ...
