As mentioned previously, I have also created a Futures list. This is list of 22+ prospects who I have determined have a strong opportunity to reach NT if they recieve proper training. This was determined by considering each players current skills, age and potential to determine if they can reach a similar Skill Points level as the current players on the team at their position. The analysis utilizes data provided from other sources on average pops by age, player cap levels, and training speed analysis.

Once again the list is heavily skewed towards guards.

Guards
Atsuya Hattori 25 Sindhu Monks
Yasuyoshi Honda 23 Isehara Pistons
Takao Shiomi 22 Mythical Man-Month
Makoto Asada 22 Miyazaki Freeters
Masamitsu Honda 23 Penetrator City
Issei Takashima 22 Mi smo Kamikaze
Hironobu Yokotami 22 Celtics Montevarchi
Kenya Mizuno 23 Hillheads Warriors

Small Forward
Fumio Ogi 24 Okstate Cowboys

Bigs
Tohru Asano 22 Kitakyushu
Masahide Iwata 22 Swoosh

I will be starting a campaign of contacting owners about their players over the next week. I will contacts current starters first and move on from there.

As you can see we have significant challenges in talent at SF/PF/C. I would encourage anyone that really wants to help our National Teams to take on training one of these positions. If you plan to purchase a player with this aim and they are 21+ I recommend contacting me first so I can let you know if I think they can get to a level to help the team. I wouldn't want to waste someone's effort
.

Season 19 Preview

Season starting rosters have been set and we will play our first game tonight. Let me take a few minutes to share our schedule with you and a few thoughts on our prospects this season for the #73 Ranked Nippon National team.

Schedule

Feb 20 - #18 Philippines
Feb 27 - #38 Australia
Mar 5 - #42 Malaysia
Mar 12 - #71 India
Mar 19 – BYE
Mar 26 - #92 Pakistan
Apr 2 - #91 Macau

All games begin a 7:30PM in Japan.

I think the schedule sets up in our favor. We will face a tough first 3 games and will be expected to go 0-3 to start out. However, this also gives us a few weeks to get more familiar with the team to set up for the crucial second three games. The last three are all winnable games and if we can win them all to finish 3-3 then we could advance to the second round. Advancing would be a great success for a team that has struggled in recent years and is currently 73rd ranked.

Additional focus for this season will be developing for our future. I will be focusing a lot of effort this season on our prospects and working to make sure those players are getting developed. I’ve started sending emails overnight to some of the managers (thanks to my jet lag) and will continue emailing throughout the week. If you player was listed on of the lists shared in my forum posts ((210311.21), (210311.31)) then you can expect an email from me soon.

Great work and I see you have been putting in much effort but here is yet another task only you can go.

Do we really want them contacting BG Samuraj?

Nippon National Team Advertisement

すばらしい選手があると思う? 日本代表チームの選手をなれると思う? そうなら、BG Samuraj (42761) をメールしてください。私はできるだけ返事をさせていただきます。

You think that you have a fantastic player? You think he can play for Japan national team? Then please send BB mail to BG Samuraj (42761) and he will answer you as soon as possible.

I think that draw is close to perfect. TIE, TIE, TIE, win, win, win. Then we just have to hope that our PD is better than any other 3-3s.

Very good... looks like their lack of RB broke their neck... thumbs up!

The method of learning Japanese recommended by experts is to be born as a Japanese baby and raised by a Japanese family, in Japan. And even then it is not easy...

Well done Taiyo, well done.
One of the best wins for the NT since I've been here.
