I made a quite good PF a few seasons ago (or at least at that time, for me was a great player, a multiskill $60,000 PF). The best trained players I own now are a Swedish and Russian player in my original team, trained for my since their first week in the game. I have also a good Utopian player, but I haven't ended training him yet.

You never scout? Even when you know you will have a losing season?

How come Swedish and Russian?

Don't you find it a waste of money sometimes?

Yes, some seasons it's a waste of money but not all. For instance, I spend $10k a week in scouting, it means $150k over a whole season. 2 seasons ago, I drafted an "hall of famer" player and I managed to sell him for $500k, it covered my scouting costs for 3 seasons. A lower potential player with good starting skills can be sold between $100k and $200k, it's exactly the cost of a season of scouting.

On the long term, I lost money but I like the gamble, I think it's a fun and exciting part of the game so I don't mind losing a little money for it. I waste a lot more money in training when a player misses minutes or something like that.

I agree that it's fun. The gamble is fun And it's probably far better odds than at the casino

I've never, especially for two reasons, in my first team, I had never been lower than the forth position in my conference since my third season in the game. The second and most important is, I used not to have more than $10000 benefits per week

The Swedish and Russian, if I have understood you well, they are 105 TSP and 106 TSP respectively

The $10k option is the best. I use it even if I know I'm going to do well in the season.

So did you choose Russian and Swedish players for a reason or they were just what you found at the time?

Ah I see!! I thought you chose Russian and Swedish because you might have had some connection there or something.

It's hard to find good Utopia youth isn't it? They're always very expensive..
