I think it is a bug. For me they probably counted last seasons finals salaries; around 110kg. because now it is ridiculous;
Salaries: $ 45 135 merchandise: $ 30 385 , it is 67% of total salaries lol.

Same here, made around 30,000 merch in D4 and after promotion received 31,000...

I invested 4M in a new stadium and the next week I got around +20K which is normal.
But this week I got even a bit less than before building the stadium. As if the stadium was not taken into the account.
It looks obvious that this is a bug which has to be fixed as it would not be be fair otherwise.

At least overextention tax isn't calculated for week 1. Hopefully they get a fix soon
