In game coach cares only about offense, so you can't play blank lineup if you have specific players or defensive rotations. Your team has to be built appropriately so your coach doesn't play the lineup of three Cs because someone could exploit that by playing Patient with scorer at SF or something like that.

Just accept reality, this game will shrink for the next few months until it reaches a level of stability (my guess its will stop at around 12-15k users). As long as there is no way to retain new users, the downward trend will continue.
