Last season I trained two weeks each of Pressure, Inside D, One on One (forwards), Passing, Jumpshot (wingmen), and Rebounding, all two positions, and one week of stamina and FT. He popped in everything except JR, but had 2 in driving. This season I trained one position: 1 week Pressure, 3 weeks Passing, 1 week Outside Shooting, and 1 week One on One (guards) when my minutes got screwed up. He's had 1 pop in OD, 3 PS, 1 JR, 1 JS, and 1 DR. So he's actually had 21 pops in 20 weeks

I had a level 4 trainer last season. This season I have a level 5.

Ding.

Apologies for another "look at my problem" post but this thread seemed the best for it.

I have a roughly 19K SF who seems to be capped - Starter potential, and he's 21. This is lower than the projected range for capping at Starter, but I've read that well rounded SF types might cap earlier. All my other trainees are popping. Is it possible for a 19K starter player to cap in people's experience?

Do you mind posting his skills, and also what you are training him in and how many weeks you have trained him in that without a pop? Also post height please.

IS 7 ID 8
RB 8 SB 2

multiple JS and JR trainings in the last few weeks. Last non - ST/FT pop was 8 weeks ago. He missed a couple with injuries but he's noticably not popping anymore.

I would try training one on one for the next 3 weeks. If you don't get a pop in something after that then he has most likely capped. Although his skills are pretty high at the moment so he is probably already capped.

I trained 3 players with a level 6 trainer during 8 weeks. I trained only PG in pressure:
1) 18 year old, 190 cm. He got 40-45 minutes most of these weeks. Popped week 1, 3, 6 and 8 in OD and week 2 in ID. Started with respectable OD.
2) 21 year old, 183 cm. He had at least 48 minutes for most of these 8 weeks but not all. Popped week 2, 4, 6 and 8 in OD, week 4 in ID and week 7 in handling. Started with proficient OD.
3) 23 year old, 188 cm. He had about 46 minutes most of the weeks. Sometimes a little more and rarely less. Popped week 2, 4 and 7 in OD and week 8 in driving.

My conclusion from this is that you get a punishment for training less than 48 minutes but that it is still much faster than training 2 positions for these players. Player 1) had one week but about 40 minutes and during that week he should have popped according to pop every second week but still low punishment. Also interesting that a 21 year old player popped as frequent as the initial time suggestion in this thread.

Great report and really interesting to look at...

You should take into consideration that the height has a great influence on the pressure training. Probably your 18 year old trainee would have poped more that the 21 if the heights were the same. If you continue with pressure on this guys please report how did they go

Thanks
