Anyone else notice that when Shaquille changes his name to YungBeast people start agreeing with him and he gets a 5ball rating on his post instead of the usual 1 Ball?

what?

I noticed a significant increase of shot attempts by my Power Forward from when I started training driving. Shotefficiency dropped a bit according to his boxscores. However I'm positive this is because his opponents got better in inside defence. The manual states that shotefficiency is improved by handling. and since training driving also improves handling it's quite useful for players who have a good shot.

By that I mean that shotattempts will only be made if the chance to score is good enough. If you got a bad shooter, then training driving isn't that useful, what will he do with the ball? However if he is a good shooter, driving will be a very useful skill. I think driving and handling are supporting skills. And they're only useful when there is something to support.

Is Driving only offensive skill?
Opponent's driving in offense is compared from defending side with outside-inside defense or does Driving skill also do defending?
For example if you train Pressing this also improves Driving. Does this mean that Driving is also defending skill or there's no such correlation?

Which is pretty much what everyone is implying. They are ignoring the other skills. By training driving you are neglecting other skills. That's why you need to compare to pros and cons of training driving to let say passing which the OP wanted to know.

Plus, training any skill will drive up salary, so its also about which skills yield the most bang for the buck.

Yeah, but can you train driving without also pushing handling up significantly? I don't know, I'm no expert in salary or those training modes.

i'd also likme to pitch a question

What is more useful:
Driving and jumpshot
or driving an inside shot.

Would there be a greater effect (if any) if you combine driving with inside shot, my NBA example/thinknig of this would be a dwayne wade dunk/layup or would, say a guard, have better results if, NBA example: they drivew past their defenders and pull up for a 2 point shot.

now this may probably vary for position, so for argument sake, lets use a SF.
is it more effectibe for the SF to have IS/driving or JS/driving

thank you
