yes yes and yes...
I'm not saying that either of them is the best and ultimate solution... I can even say that I see some of them as incomplete or simply bad, but that's not the point here...

I can find more suggestions if there's a serious discussion about this with our GMs and BBs... it didn't take long to come up with one idea that seems to have a lot of advantages with not that much impact... my goal in this thread is to show that there is a problem in BB and it should be solved, I'm not rushing to a 5 minute decision, either way BBs will make their own analysis

3. drastically cutting down money from transfer fee in first few weeks after purchase (now 20%, can be even 80%)

It's stupid idea. Why? Suppose that you want to earn money on transfers. Many teams are making money like that. What with this??

What does it mean?

You bought free agent cheap and few days later you sold this player for more money.

Yeah, I know taht my English is perfect ;D

Regards! :D

I think that probably the better way to suggest smth would be posting at Suggestions Forum. I know that BBs are reading it from time to time. And yes, the problem exists.

What about implementing reputation for the clubs? Things works like that in real life and it pretty much solves such problem.

Well, to do that is necessary to measure something from its league. It might be players salary average or amount of top 2 players skills from every team or something. So you will get the picture about best players from the league.

They will then get reputation balls. In comparation to players in the TL. So there might be no 5 ball players at all if you have best players already, while Div.V team could see these values everywhere.

Basically it tells you how good these players are if you roughly compare them to the best from your league and if they are by like 2 balls better, you just cant get them.

I can't see any common criteria for this... how do you tell which player is the best? match rating is not a good criteria, match stats are also random, skills are good or bad depending on many conditions... also different managers have different strategies and different players will be useful for them...

It's not only about making it less attractive financially... this should be implemented and we all agree...

the real issue is about using those "rented" mutants (or monsters) to win trophies or to avoid relegation, that simply makes no sense in a game like BB... but what can you do if your rival buys a couple of mutants just to wing a game against you? you buy your own mutants (vide B3 final)... finances don't matter in cases like this so it has to be handled separately

You forgot about leaving strategy when team on BB use it just to win the trophy and don't care about the future. So costs are not important for them.

BB is not real life... here you'll have managers that don't care about the future, the'll win the trophy, sell out, wait a couple of seasons in lower leagues and try again... and this is a MASSIVE online game so the risk is that every season at least one guy will have that kind of idea, for example to win the national cup... it's impossible to stop if you focus only on finances
