So what happened to the Bunny Humpers' starting PF? That's kind of interesting. Anyhow, isn't it kind of ironic that you're training guards, I'm training big men, you have an outside scoring attack and I'm heavily inside-focused, and it's you who has both starting big men while I have 2 starting perimeter players if you count the SF?

Nice to finally have you here and btw grats to Daniel Carver from the Merced Blue Devils (The worst team!) to winning the 3PT Contest.

Lil_Chris, you'll probably find some ways to beat the Tornadoes and me on here

Power Rankings Week 8
(Forgot that we had a short week so anyways)
1. Bunny Humpers (13-0)
- Beat the War Eagles last Saturday to prove that they can win against top teams, now just needs to beat the over-powered Tornadoes to prove that they are the best.
2. Kittanning Tornadoes (12-1)
- Had a dominant game against the lil kings winning by +49! Can become the top seed if they are able to beat the Bunny Humpers!
3. War Eagles (11-2)
- Lost to the two big teams, which should make this team be #3, but this team is still dangerous and any late additions to this team can probably help this team win it all.
4. Avenal Falcons (10-3)
- If the Falcons can prove that they aren't just a nobody by beating the Bunny Humpers this Saturday than this team will surely look dangerous. The manager is also selling a lot of players, probably looking to use the cash on a big star - so watch out.
5. The Erie Razors (10-3)
- Lost to the big 3 and won against everybody else so this team is pretty decent. Might give the War Eagles some trouble in the playoffs. If the manager becomes active again and uses his money, he probably has 2m+ by now...he can have a run for the championship.
6. Green Mambas (7-6)
- I thought this team's manager quit, and that this team would become a bot, but I guess not...Hope this team can regroup , since I believe this manager also has a lot of money.

I just had a very gratifying thought: Unless you deliberately try to lose games, there's no way I won't have a higher draft pick than you, b/c there's no way I can overcome the massive point differential. Of course, the more significant flip side is that means there's no way I can get HCA, but why worry about the cloud when you can talk about the silver lining instead? Anyhow, I feel pretty confident that I'm as ready as I'll ever be to take on the BH with the addition of my new perimeter player http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/6701604/overview.aspx who should add some veteran experience to the team and contribute in all areas: scoring, passing, rebounding, and defending. He can be a starter or a backup at multiple positions. By the way, Lil_Chris, that's the sort of thing you'll find on the forums at least from me: not-so-subtle hints about various players, as well as various back-and-forth between me and Lemony. It should be a strong competition to advance, especially if War Eagles can add another star.

Stop adding players....
And did you mean 1st place? Because the first draft pick is going to go to one of the bots.

I didn't mean first overall pick. I figure you'll have the 16th pick overall, since that's based not on postseason finish but on regular-season finish. Then I'll probably have the 15th, and War Eagles the 14th. The reason I'm happy to be higher than you is that we seem to both do a fair amount of scouting and thus target the best available prospect (exhibit A: Cliff Pringle, who was my first preference but you got to him first). Hopefully the tables will be turned. The bot teams draft at random and I don't know how much scouting War Eagles, Erie Razors, Avenel Falcons, etc. have done, but hopefully I'll be able to get a decent prospect despite a late draft pick.

By the way, I'm 18 and a freshman in college, currently at school in Illinois but formerly from Kittanning, PA (near Pittsburgh) hence the team name.

Well the Allstar Game.

The Big 8 was beat down by the Great 8 in the first quarter 58-39...dang. The Big 8 decided to have a late comeback in the 4th quarter led by the 3 allstars from the Bunny Humpers, as they started the quarter, hitting all shots and assisting to each other. Than they got subbed out and we lost it. Anyways, this game proved that Iriarte cannot shoot, but he can pass...Faina came alive in the 3rd to keep us in. The ratings were pretty nice, C. Diamond decided to kill us in the first half as he made all 5 of his 3's there. We couldn't get a rebound - my fault. Only one player did not attempt a shot and did not score who was Larment, but gave out 7 assists. Only one player made 100% on his shots which was the Big 8's starting center, Perna.

Yeah..good game.

Yeah, I suppose that kind of blew Iriarte's cover, didn't it? It works out ok, though, b/c in my LI offense he doesn't really have to light it up from outside, although he can hit a long jumper occasionally, and with scorers like Rafael Faina, Maurilio Tullio, Damian Aldridge, as well as players who can score in a pinch like Catapang and McNeill, he doesn't need to go for 20-30 ppg, especially if he keeps averaging close to 10 assists per game.
