Second Team:
The Perth Players
yes I will, I'm just waiting to hear back from our national manager. Currently trying some different tactics in my games so I have some different go to options as my starting pg and sg have developed quite well but still need more training. Looking forward to winning a game or two next week as I don't plan to relegate this season but am aiming to be in the playoffs.

looks like the competition is heating up over in the Great 8
For once, it doesn't look like there are any teams that are obviously tanking.. I think we've had a dedicated tanker on our side for several seasons in a row

some pretty competitive teams looking to make a push
Hadders is looking pretty good. The Players have had a bad start to the season but have a pretty decent lineup too..unlucky to get two serious opponents in the first week being hadders and myself

over in the big 8, MJP has a very deep and talented roster, and HA looks like he is going to give it a red hot go this season too. The Cunning One himself is sitting pretty at the top of the league with a huge 58 PD already and HA snapping on his heels being only 6 points behind.

looks like a fantastic season in the making so far!

i have to admit, ive played two newby teams already - Coasters look like they may struggle though, their lineup is still a long way to go.

Adams guns are tanking - for the moment. not really putting forward a competitive lineup just yet.... still - only 2 games in, so im not writing him off or anything...... will be interesting to see whether or not he is going to give his trainee's another year down here, then promote, or try and bounce straight back up.

MJP have a nice balance lineup, i like it, not too many chinks, and he has a nice genuine SF there, who isnt a SG. will be interesting to see how he goes with him.

could be an interesting season ahead :)

I will give Zagkas a plug in a thread in the Wombat Federation.

What are your plans for the season?

You must have one of the biggest bank balances in Aussie BB

Not only the Great 8 which is heating up.

Always been very respectful of Avalon Jets and Ive spoken previously about how good MJP look.

What adds to the challenges of this season is that the Cunning Linguists and Geelong Vipers who both beat me last season on their home courts, in the leadup to the finals and consequently cost me home court advantage V the Windies, both look considerably stronger and more balanced than last season.

Then theres Adam Guns who whilst tanking at the moment, is likely to have between 10 and 15 mill sitting in the bank which he could unleash anytime if he gets bored

5 former ABBLers in the one league and many very capable and equiped up and coming Managers as well

Ive spent many seasons in BB and I cant recall a season where a div 2 league has had so much quality and depth.

well adam guns just put his trainees on the selling block

Who knows what I'll do!
Might spend $3 mill on each of my new starting lineup soon, I'll see.

Team Akuma draws another Bot team in the cup.

Would really like to see this team tested over 3 games in a week and have to fight for the 50K from cup games rather than just being given it.

Also would like to see how the team with its 600K a week salary and only a 15 and a half thousand seat arena survives with out its cup income.

Team Akuma barring injuries or sales caused by finanical pressures will be extremely hard to beat because of the stength of their starting 5
