Ouch, tough loss

Final 1 2 3 4 Total
Baxter Bullants 24 26 21 21 92
Alabama Bees 20 25 21 43 109

They poured in 43 points in the last quarter. Is that a stamina issue from my end or just incredibly bad luck?

Could of been or did you have a key player foul out maybe? Don't forget to check game shape(I think the most important stat). Try to ensure your GS is respectable or better for all players, especially your starting 5. Best way to do this is to ensure your players between 50-70 mins every week roughly. Lots of theories on best minutes etc but there is a random element to the game when determining GS each week. A trainer with the fitness speciality can help as well. GS makes a huge difference. A 150k salary side with strong average GS will compete and sometimes defeat(pending on a few factors) a team with a salary of 200-250k if their GS average is respectable or lower. Sorry if thats confusing but let me know plus, the forums have great articles on GS as well.

a Couple of guys are way down on game shape.

Is that from playing too many minutes? I'll try to shape the rotations a little better.

Generally 50-70 mins per week is ideal but even then there is a chance of no improvement or even a decrease but rare. If you keep your guys around those minutes per week(50-70) then you will be fine for most of the season. Look it's hard to manage GS when your still in the cup and competing in the league. Can't have your best players playing 3 a week without consequences for the most part. GS can drop from playing to many or too little, injuries and the random factor....

No problems. My two guns are nearly stuffed from playing too many minutes, I've pulled them from the starting lineup for the next game.

Hopefully the cup ends for me this week.

I've always found that 60-75 mins per week is better. I had many games last season where players played between 70-75 mins and improved their gameshape. As previously said, there is a random element also so there's no guarantee that even if you play the perfect amount of minutes that it will improve gameshape but most times more than not will be good if it's between 55-75 per week.

Is there any point in having a shooting guard who couldn't shoot fish in a barrel?

Vadym Yarmenchuk (30156900) is averaging 34 minutes, and delivering big with 4.4 points per game at about 19%.

Pfft. Is he taking the piss? He's pine riding for while till he gets his head out of his Khyber Pass.

Depends on his shooting ability compared to his team mates ability, tactics used, GS, opposition and a few other factors. I guess you could design a team with PG/SG's with mainly high passing, OD and handling with monster inside big men and play an inside tactic idk. My thinking it's just a combination of the above and remember SG can be seriously nulified if the opposition SG has high OD and to a degree HA and ID and even blocking.

Teammates abilities factor in deeply. Look at my star player (who I switch between PG, SF and mostly SG) shot great last year because I had one of the most talented rosters and now that I've got him playing with a lot of bums, he's shooting horribly.

So it's the bums that are ruining it.

Note to self - less bums.

Terribly lop sided divisions this season.

Poor old Cuntwin would be fourth in the Big8, and instead is at the foot of the ladder in the Great8.

Meanwhile the Bullants need another couple of wins to maybe, just maybe, sneak into the playoffs, even if it's just for one game.
