Iran go at Australia, Gallant effort.

A final all out effort from Iran pushed Australia to a close game in the final round robin game before the finals. Izad'doust was played out of position at Center, creating a mismatch against some of Australia's bigs, forcing to step outside and play defense. But Australias team proved too balanced as they won every category except turnovers.

3 votes- Wills (18pts on 8-16FG, 5 rebs, 5 assists, 3 blocks, 1 steal).
2 votes- Raichura (15pts on 7-13FG, 11 rebs, 2 blocks, 1 steal)
1 vote- Nicodemou (12pts on 5 of 9FG, 5 rebs, 4 assists, 4 steals, 1 block, 14.5 rating).

Semi Final vs Taiwan next week, winner plays in the world cup.
Cracker of a game coming up. Also watching Pinos vs China will be interesting.

Well, thats the game that was played. Explain it? I dont think i can. We have some excellent rebounding bigs who played large minutes. But those 3rd, 4th, even 5th chances they were getting to score were mind blowing.

23-16 Assists our way. Blocks 10-2 our way. Steals 10-7 to us. And the rebound team rankings high proficient to us, low strong to them. Ouch!
