Agree, this is designed as a slow play game, and that's just the type of game it is. I will say that to train an 18 yo through age 25 takes 112 weeks. That's over 2 years, which is a pretty crazy amount of time to full develop a player. I don't have a great solution or idea, but it could be nice if you could see your player develop in less than 2 years.

Changing the games/week format or number of weeks/season is a tricky change, because it could drastically change the economic/training balance of the game. Less weeks per season means high potential players may never reach their potential. Large countries have cup tournaments that run the majority of the regular season. Acquisition price economics would change if acquired players could be used in less revenue-generating games. Etc etc. Any change has ripple effects and needs to be well thought out.

*optional* Training "intensity"
train your players 2x as fast as they normally would....

HOWEVER their gameshape and in game performance suffer 3x as quickly, they'll be more prone to foul, and the rest of your team not training, their gameshape also will suffer 1.5 x normal, since the training player ups the tempo and intensity they try to match it.

And I see people saying "BB is too difficult for casual gamer, has a big learning curve and shouldn't be too difficult". That change has so many implication on competivity that could frighten many people. One thing though, that would be greatly welcomed by farm team.

This is my 20th season and part of the challenge that lures me to continue playing is that Im still learning things about the game.

No issue with more guides and better mentoring etc for new Managers, but dont make it so that it doesnt continue to challenge the established players.

Well OK with that, but people have to agree on casual and not casual. Because it's easy to think the BB are doing nothing when one guy say West and the other say East :/

Id be extremely hesitant to speed up the game or make it dumber.

Those issues havent drawn consensus in this thread nor will they.

Issues like;
minimising the dominance of LI,
releasing Apps,
eroding the financial benefits of tanking a little,
making training more appealing (without speeding it up) as opposed to buying cheap 33yo

These are the issues where there has been more of a consensus, that could be addressed

Yeah.... Didn't think about the farm teams....

But, that would help Wolph's witch hunt on farm teams...

Though thinking further on it and off of the other guys comments.

The programming involved in it would outweigh the benefits.

So how are you going to attract new players if somebody has to wait at least a calendar year to moveto the next division? Why don't we ask for more teams to be promoted and relegated? Eg three teams per division instead of one out of 16.

Since money can bring investments on improvements and improvements are making the game better so more players will come, why don't we make supporter more attractive? Or go for semi and full supporter fee?

Instead of sharing all these ideas in a forum is there any way that a committee can collect, review and approve those ideas and make them happen?

I am just thinking loudly from the business perspective of how to make the game more popular...

Hi,

I'd like to change the implementation of a MAJOR RULE change to start charging me a tax for being over the salary cap which has been implemented with NO NOTICE. This is very poor as most good teams have already purchased their players ready for the new season and if they have funds available to over spend on talent have already purchased the talent.

very poor

From the season 25 announcement:
To encourage managers to build a team that can operate within its means, we’re introducing a “fair play” rule into the financial system that gives teams an incentive to keep their salaries in line with that which they earn in in a given week. We’re still fine-tuning the details, but we’ll be introducing this into the game at the start of the next season.

Three months is awful short notice.
