There can be changes, but step by step, not immediate massive changes.
In my eyes bigger problem is differences in income on different league level even in same country. For example in our country it's very challanging to avoid relegation after promotion to Div I even if the manager does really good job and there are others for several seasons in Div I which have done his job much worse but has no problem to avoid relegation.
I thing lowering the income differencies can help also your problem.

I agree with the "step by step", no one here pretends to make a dramatic change in ONE time. Mostly because you need to sperimentate the changes, first. Changings have to be done with patience.

I don't understand the part of "different incomes in same league levels"... are you talking about tv contracts? What does generate the differnce? EDIT: wooops

I wrote different incomes in different league levels. It's caused mainly by attendance. There should be difference, but it's too high in my eyes now. And maybe there should be no difference since some level - maybe III or IV and down.

My bad!

Mmmh, i don't really know if agree or disagree. I think it's right that different leagues have different incomes... about the "how much difference", i don't know.... I have only played in V and IV league so i only have seen the difference between those two.
I'll see what people, that have played more different leagues, have to say...

Everything I see here written suggests that noone can promote in Italy/Spain IV or V division. I think we have established the fact that the best still promote.
Also I have seen said that every team operates at -0 or -(insert any number here) weekly balance. This seems illogical, why?, because we would have 15 teams per every league going bankrupt every season. Is it happening? No!
I know I'm from a lesser league and I have to avoid big projects on buying players, but it's about a couple of weeks now that I'm looking for a player that can be useful as SF. I know Ill'never be able to buy someone as good as I would like. I need just someone suitable for a IV league here in Italy.
Well, you know? I didn't buy anyone because each player I could afford was too weak, and each player who had the minimum skills to play decently was too high in price, due to all the small nations managers (who can afford to buy even overpriced players) making prices rise.
You have looked for a SF about 2 weeks now? I looked for a SF I could buy for almost 6 months before I found one I could afford and was not a marginal upgrade at the spot. Even then I settled for a bit unevenly trained player (that I now have to fix with training). So my advice to you is to stop looking for players you can sell for profit later and start buying players that you plan to train and keep.
I wish I could say I have never been outbid on a player by a Italian div IV/V team (both actually). Perhaps when you get outbid every time you set your bar too high and are hoping to get players your checkbook could never afford.

It's like I said before in this thread.

TheMaxx, you don't have money because your arena doesn't give you much money. In your last game you had like 134k. You pay almost 200k just in players salaries. You can't expect to have a lot of money if every week you gain 134k in the arena.

And please, tell me, if I can't win enough because I can't afford decent players, how I am supposed to make people come to the arena? Where do I go to hire lap dancers?

,that can have more money to buy players on the SAME MARKET in which TheMaxx had to buy the players
I think my thought is clear enough...

Yes, it is. But it's reality. Every team has his own conditions and has to manage the team in these conditions as well as possible. That's all.

You know, it's easy to say "that's how it is. Cope with it" when you are on the good side of the gun.

However i want to meet you at half the way... let's say, reductio ad absurdum, that the situation is fair because i meet teams in the same condition:
But why the economy isn't structured in the more logical and realistic way? If a country starts a division of basketball, it doesn't start with the incomes of a "big country" first division... it should start with the incomes of the "biggest country" lowerest division. Please give me your opinion this last thing.

You can design new game this way. But now it would caused big mismatch on BB.

Why you say that? Every team in the new country will have to compete with teams on the same level. It's just like it is now in Itally...
