I got no full confidence of winning any of the last three games, especially when I most likely have to sell at least one of my players due to financial problems.
I doubt I'll be able to win the relegation series anyway even if I manage to make it there...
And I just want to say...
I've been reading this forum and I really salute some of the managers' spirit to develop local players despite not garnering strong support.
Sad to say, I'm not of those who managed to contribute much to developing local talents; although I tried, but just did not try hard enough.
After many failed attempts to stay in the SBBL for more than a season, I think I will try and shift my focus to more on training SGP players; hopefully that I'll be able to contribute even just a bit.
Of course I cannot guarantee that I will definitely train up one play capable of making NT or what, but to me this is a step in the right direction, which should had probably been taken long ago.
I had been training Ambrose
(27908312) for a while, and while I might not have been training him the best way so far, my next season will all be about developing him.
With 10 in JS, OD, HA; 13 in Driving; 8 in Passing; and at 20yo currently, I hope I can still develop him into a good PG.
However, if anyone is keen to take over the training, I am also more than happy to hand him over.
This will apply to the upcoming draftees too if I happen to get any, because I don't think I'll be able to focus on more than one player unless it's gonna be another guard.
Cheers and good luck to all for your remaining games!
