He isn't putting words in your mouth, he is trying to understand what you are saying....there is a huge difference.

Why don't you consider upgrading your arena before telling other people they have no solid grasp of how to play this game.

Last time I checked, saying that taxing sales at week 5 by 80% is not the same as my goal being to train players for 5 weeks and sell them. So yes, he is putting words in my mouth alright. You'd excuse me if after being labeled 'Paula Abdul on American Idol' I tend to be a bit sensitive as far as personal attacks are concerned. I am really sorry that my opinion doesn't conform to the one of the average Joe in this forum, but there is nothing I can do about that.

Sure, I'd consider upgrading my arena whenever I feel I have the funds to do it, but I the funds will be there when I sell a couple of players... which brings us back where we started.

I'm happy your opinion doesn't conform...otherwise how could there be a discussion?

Your response just seemed a bit over the top.

A team needs to have 5 good players and other 5 players of a lower level as substitutes. 18 players as max numbers is too much and this will not limited at all the trading. I can earn 200k from a sale of only 1 player, so I think we should limit the profits not the players. Of course this can help when there are people that make profits trading a lot of players but if you want to make trading also one player can give you a lot of money.

a roster limit wont stop me to sell some of my players... i keep the best 5 and just try to sell the other 10, so it wont affect daytrading for my opinion.

Fine. Make it lower then.

You guys seem to think that we want trading to stop, or that we want it to be impossible to profit from trades. This is not the case. It is important to be able to buy and sell players, and it is important to profit from it.

What I want to see stop is trading on such a large scale that no other economic factors matter. If you can only have 15-18 players on your roster the sure you can sell players still, but you can only buy so many at a time to sell.

If you have 10 players you are currently selling then you cannot buy any more until those are sold. It slows down trading because it limits how many players can be utilized at a time.

sorry but I don`t agree with any one of you.... we need to limit the number of transfer deals per season not the roosters number... just give 20 deals limit per season and will be the point how you`ll stop them... cause they could only buy 10players and sell them out.. and no more deals on that season... for normally managed team this limit is more then enough...

It is far of being perfect, because it may stop daytrading (not completely, only the number of deals), but it will also slow down the growing of many many teams which are not doing this.
And of course, it will kill the market, which is for many users one of the main feature of the game.
