His court vision, leadership to lead the team. Keep people organize in flow is something stats unable to see. His shot selection is good where is only take if he believe it able to went in. His quick hand does really surprise everyone where he can constribute 4 steal in a night. with stats of 12.5, 4.7(8th) assist and 1.2 stl. hidden price that almost overlook by other team.

Yap Jing Sze from Singapore FC 1st time allstar. After so many season in SBBL, captain of singapore FC finally get the recongise by the committee and fans for this effort to be an allstar. Leading the team from his 1st rookie year to an allstar, his effort has been pay off. Now that he is consider the number 1 point guard in Singapore. he has a laid back character where he tend to slack off easily after mention of player of the week, the following week he went for a quiet streak. He is a sleeping dragon that ready to explode when he is given a green light by the coach. Most of the time he will quietly makes play for the team to score. with stats of 13.1pts 4.1 assist 1.2 off, one of the great leader for the team.

Ziya Erk from Shwe Toe Ngal 1st time allstar. Brough for this season to come out with guard to stop CPU and FC. A trash talker player who can use it to disturb his oppoent. A good example when vs Singapore FC guard, oppoent gotten into an early foul trouble which break the offensive flow. Other than his mouth, his offensive sense is good where he can make good shot selection when is needed. He always has a great sense of court awarenss that able to pass the ball at the right time. rumnor has shown that the team is trying to deal him right after the lost to CPU, we wish his future to be sucessful. with stats of 10.1 pts, 5.9 assist(4th) and 1.1 stl, a good player to be in this spot.

Hasse Niemivaara from SG Young Guns first time allstar. It is hard to believe that this player will be allstar as the league have a lot of big names. One of the main piece to bring the Young guns till now. Hasse Niemivaara is not someone who can walk around and push over with. Even though his skill might be averge, his experience and leadership skill helps to unite the team as one. Inside locker room everyone will listen to him when he speak. Ranked as the MVP for div 2 in past 2 season. When the team is lost, he will bring the team back the offensive rythem. When vs Singapore Showstoppers he is the only guy will make more than 50% in FG for the team. With stats of 24.8pts(2nd), 4.5 assist and 3.3 rebound, a truly MVP candidate player for the team.

Ruudi Kallas from Compassvale United select 3rd allstar. Living as one of the best SF, his hungry to win is more than anyone in the team. Everynight you can see him demand the ball each time the play star. However sometimes there is some problem is that even he is cold that night, he will continue to shoot to perfect it. He refuse to lose, when the team is down, he will demand even more to bring the team back to the game. with stats of 22.4pts(3rd), 6.4 rebound, 3.7 assist. A dangerous enemy and a nice teammate for his team.

Huang Tae Young from Shwe Toe Ngal.2nd time as an allstar. A player contain korean and taiwan DNA. Another fans favourite whom they call him the fake korean. His efficent level is rank 3rd in the league. Although giving him a unfamilar role in the team, he still use his excellent shot selection to torch the oppoent when needed. Rumnor show that STN also trying to deal him somewhere else again. Let hope the best in the career road. With stats of 17.7pts, 9.6rebound and2.1 assist A pro player who know his role well and use his skill for the very best.

Tanausu Galeno from Compassvale United select 2nd time as an allstar.In need for the backcourt to shoot more often, the team need a strong front court to grab rebound and defend well. He is the person that CPU need. A defensive type player who maybe will join into offensive play for some pick and roll when needed. With his size and flexible body, he can make some 3 pointer if needed to spread the floor well. with stats of 12pts, 13.8 rebound(6th) and 2.5 off. The more time spend with the team, the better he become.

Velimir Kunić from STN for the 1st time. Another guy that STN trying to deal after the cup game. A good shooter as he is sitting as the best FG % shooter in the league. Other than his shot selection, his rebounding skill can be consider to be good. The skill for rebounding is mainly his offensive rebounding skill as some night he able to take in 5 off for the team giving them extra chances when needed. with stats of 15.7pts, 9.8 rebound and 2.4 off, A player that most team will be under estimate it with.

Manuel Irarrázaval from Shwe Toe Ngal 1st time allstar. Another best player that is the team is trying to sell. A excellent free throw shooter. As free throw mean to be free. If able to hit all the free throw, oppoent will have to think twice to foul you or not. A very good team player and understand well for his surrounding. When in rebounding, he will make sure the oppoent will be box out of the paint area to ensure no 2nd chances. Very active player in the court whom can see he contribute in every area. with stats of 11.7pts, 2.1 assist and 2.4 off, one of the best player for the team.

Ex player from NANDA, A very very very powerful rebounder, using his big hand and sense of ball he grab every single rebound that fall into place. Not only he take defenvise rebound, he love to get offensive rebound. When vs Singapore FC he went for a career high of 10 offensive rebound! giving the team alot of 2nd chances that turn the game into NANDA favour. As he grabing alot of 2nd chances, oppoent tend to think twice before attempting the shot result in break down the offensive rythem, We hope his best in his journey in United state league.

Singapore Showstoppers Press Release

Singapore Showstoppers go into the final of the Singapore Cup as the underdogs. Although that cup finals can appear to go both ways, the odds are firmly stacked against the side. Facing Compassvale United(CPU), in a rematch of the final in Season 20, Singapore Showstoppers know that a similar result beckons.

The team has enjoyed some favourable draws to reach the final but they are definitely determined to give it their best shot at winning the cup. With some of the stars such as Wojciech Troszczynski, 34, and Urbano Di Giuseppe, 32, heading into their thirties, this may well be their final shot together as a unit to lift the cup.

Ong Yi Ying summed it up, "We've got to make this one last push to try and win it. We owe it to our fans for sticking with us over all these years. We've finished runners-up the previous time to CPU and we want to set the record straight this time around!"

Singapore Cup: Final

THE FACTS: Wang Xiangjia give him very best career with 37 point and 21 rebound. This might be the last time the star will be playing together to win the cup. The game ended with with crowd giving standing ovation for both team by giving the fans a very very good game. Edi Rušin done it again with his 3rd game he ended with 26pts 5 assist 4 rebound. 3 player from CPU R. Kallas and R. Wisgerhof score more than 20pts while keeping their star YTH in the bench.

THE STAT: Singapore showstopper has a outstanding game where the team control the board but the shoot just not falling tonight. The team hold a 24 offensive rebound for tonight controlling the board giving alot of second chances.
However CPU defense is consider one of the best as they hold the 3 tower and team to a game low 38-87.

TURNING POINT: Since the start of 3rd quarter to the end, Singapore showstopper manage to maintain a 5 point gap with the Compassvale. However the 5 point different just seem to be so far as it drag to the very end.

QUOTABLE II: "I was very worried at first as our team was in foul trouble. Even the coach is hinting YTH to do warm up and get ready. Luckily we managed to defend our tournament title successfully, it was great!"
