Really really big win against Cech Republic (50360)...and after very complicated situation in our group from the beginning, it looks like we are in quite comfotable situation now.

Huge win Italy against Serbia despite higher Serbian's attitude looks weird...I suspect some huge mistake made of Serbia. Anyway, I expect it wouldn't be easy game on Monday.

Any suggestions what we should play are welcome via BBmail. I would like to do something like brainstorming:-)

Serbia (50364), win and semi-final!:-)

I think it was maximum for Lithuania in this season...and honestly it's very good result for us. We played in very equal group in second phase. Every game was very difficult and close. Greece who has much more players with SS10 over 140 (we have only 3) and home court advantage finished behind us.

I think it's clear we played CT today, so I can uncover that we were after two normals in a row with Italy and Czech Republic before today's game...We could try to win with Serbia by playing Tie. It was possible because we won easily. Anyway, If we won we would play with very strong Spaniards who have higher enthusiasm...so it probably wouln'td give us anything more...despite of huge risk. I think it was good decision.

Anyway, we have medal! I'm happy:-) It's 3rd medal for Lithuania on European Championships in history!

Great effort throughout all season, I'm sure you did your best and the results are showing, another medal and another good season with the team, congrats.

It's very important to be unpredictable in this game;-)

As I said before...I considered possible options and I decided (I regret that anyone didn't write to me with some conceptions so I had to took decision myself). The risk which I had to take by playing Tie was too big and what is more important wouldn't give us advantage before semi-finals (Spain and France have absolutely stronger team and in addition they had easier pool to build advantage). One of options was that England win with France by CT and we will play with them. Everytime when I took big risk in the past to win more I had guarantee that it will give us advantage...and I was sure of participation in Repechage to World Championships at least. It wasn't sure this time. I'm not a crazy man. I couldn't risk so much.

What's more? I simply need to win medal from time to time:-)
