It's one year I don't write in global-forum, but...

I hope not, but...

I think that cross-training could be the worst innovation of this game since season 3.

I could suggest many things that could be usefull than this, but it's not the right forum and when I said something about I received 3 answers, no-one about GMs and BBs, so I play my role of "coach" and no more than this.

I repeat that I hope to be wrong, but if I have really understood the meaning of this "innovation" could be a right reason to leave... we'll see

My only issue with this new training method is that when you train multiskilled players, you generally train them in one specific area first (guard/big man), and then train the other area second. The new training method suggests that it will be more difficult initially, but then easier later. These could possibly equalise each other, meaning it is just as hard to train multiskilled players, but harder to train mono-skilled players. While I'm all for reducing the number of salary monsters, I would like it to be easier to train multiskilled players without rotating the position they are playing week to week.
Whilst this is all just speculation at this stage, I am sure this has been thought through properly by the developers, and look forward to seeing how training is affected over the coming season.

Random cross training. I left the game for a season only to see it continue to sputter. So many good elements there but it is almost like the developers don't know what to do next with it.

Hitting hard on primaries increase salaries to insane levels. Unbalanced players and insane salaries leads to lots of problems. That's the logic in this change. I don't have the necessary hindsight to say if it's a good or a bad change but the logic is clear.

A particularly well-rounded player will continue to receive cross-training but will see a much lower reduction in primary skill training, while a particularly one-dimensional player will see a larger loss.

In the past well-rounded players benefited when training one of their higher trained skills by having with less drag from higher, well rounded secondary skills. This seems to be static or accentuated within the new system.

No. Explain why you think it's the worst innovation of the game. It could be a worthwhile discussion for once.

Have you ever done some ball-handling exercises?

Did you improve in shot blocking?!
