Deciding game is on your home court and you now have an edge in enthusiam.

Id argue that in the scheme of things a 30 point loss in the game just gone with Aussie using more enthusiam is better for your team than a 1 point loss with both teams using the same amount of enthusiam.

Lets face it "Australians with all their pride" have never been able to stop seagulls.

Occassionally they might take one down with a fishing hook at the beach or a cover drive at the MCG, but the gulls always come back in numbers

Bad luck to aussie dude who did an incredible job making this a nail biting game and the finals series was in the balance down to the last few minutes despite me having home court advantage, an enthusiasm advantage, a game shape advantage and a much more expensive roster. Having such a tight final despite all these things shows what an immense BB mind he has. He is clearly a brilliant manager and I hope next season your turn will come.

Honestly I am still trembling. What a moment.

Shanmag asked me what I will do with the $1,000,000. The honest truth is I have no plans. I have not thought beyond this moment at all. I have no plans. All I was trying to do was get to the ABBL. Now, I will have to have a deep think.

Thanks to all the wonderful managers of II.3 for the fun times. I will miss so many of you. Hope the draft goes well for everyone, I haven't used a single point so I'm picking blind!

Id suggest you pump a few or 4 or 5 hundred thousand into the stadium straight away if you have it.

Great effort but given we are now both in the ABBL its a bit of a worry in that we share a common confident in Ezlife.

Aussie Dude should be very proud of the against the odds effort

Agree on all three points. Just spent $350,000 on 500 new lower tier seats. A good start I guess. Funny that we go intothe ABBL in such different ways. You were nearly bankrupt and I would have had nearly $2,000,000 (now minus the $350,000). Still I suspect you will be doing very well next season in the ABBL. I still have no idea. I will look where everyone ends up and then decide.

Great work by you. Looking at the three promoting teams, you, Da Fat Buy Slim, Hadders Heroes and me, I think I am the weakest of the four so it could be a tough season of swallowing my pride.

Yeah good game that thug Sherwin fouled out in glory taking Essaifi with him. Your probably looking at something similar to me in regards to promoting. I didn't have any real plans either, i probably would have built my stadium, kept my current team and checked out the landscape for a couple of weeks. Don't think i could bring myself to ever full on tank a season even if it meant missing out on some good cash. I think Div 2 will be even more competitive next season, we will get an ABBL team and Vio has already kicked things off by buying a 100k PG.

As for my plans next season probably won't make too many changes. Didn't build my stadium at all this season so that needs some attention. Might swap Wiench for someone with more passing at some point.

The million in promotion money will almost but not quite get rid of all HAs debt.

Was in a lot worse state 2 seasons ago where I got the warning bbmail a week earlier and if a 2 million doller sale hadnt of gone through at about this time of night after the 3rd final, HA would have been bankrupt the next morning

If I was you I wouldnt let the building contracters off site when they finish the extension. You want another 6 or 7 hundred thousand dollers spent on bleachers (perhaps in 2 builds)

I think "that thug Sherwin" will go in my Hall of Fame tonight. I love him and despite his declining TPE and creeping age I think I will be hanging onto him for a long time. Obviously Gamboa was the MVP but Sherwin's grit and Ðuričko stepping up and having his game of the season were other massive factors. Ðuričko is the last player from my startup team in season team and it was Judge Nik and you that told me to train him. Well his stats aren't as good as they could be due to my incompetence when I was training him but he had a hell of a game tonight.

Sid I still think your economic management two seasons ago was the best I have ever seen on BB. Remember that was two seasons ago and I was two points down with seconds to goand I had won that semi-final I could have made the ABBL back then.

I worry about Smeltz going down, unless he has millions stacked away he might have problems.

Its not easy readjusting a demoted team to be able to perform within budget constraints and I dont know how he'll be able to hang onto Smeltz and still have the depth to be competitive.

I sincerely hope Beechy gets back in the game, it would be an absolute shame to see such a champion Manager to go bot.

Good on you Yoda, I honestly thought you'd made a mistake spending so much on an aging centre.

Not saying Aussie didnt, but you truly deserve the opportunity to experience the ABBL.

Bad luck to all those teams still in league II.3, like league II.2 I will continue to look on with interest and hope to see some more of my old friends join Yoda and I in the ABBL in the near future.

I hope you do better than I did first time around in the ABBL.

I put so much time and resources into the efforts of getting into the ABBL, I truly had no idea of what to do when I got there.

Congratulations Yoda on promoting to ABBL for the first time. I certainly had my doubts after you went OT against SplitJ. Hope you are ready mate because it isn't going to be easy!

Bad luck Aussie mate! You took up the challenge and I commend you for it. Keep at it and I'm sure you will make it to ABBL soon.

Also I haven't had the chance but would like to congratulate Sid. Hope you have learnt a lot last time round and will do much better this time.

Great to see so many fellow II.3 team mates doing so well. Still waiting on you my fellow rivals Haggards and Vios. :P

Can't believe I still remember when this forum was dead quiet and now it's so active! Time certainly flies! ^^
