Ko Phyo's Shwe Toe Ngal wins at Sport hub (By Eric Press Release)

Ko Phyo and Audi* are battling for the post of U21 manager, but tonight their teams, Shwe Toe Ngal and Singapore FC battles each other for the first televised victory of the new season. To the delights of the away fans, C. Valente and V. Altman led Shwe Toe Ngal to a 100-88 win at Sport hub. Phyo are full of praise for the team, "It was a great team effort! It is always nice to start off the season with an away win. Hopefully I can win the U21 manager election also."

Elsewhere, defending champion, FuTureSG stumbles at home to Ben's Jaguars, 77-87. The Jaguars were brilliant even without their manager at helm. C. Manca, A. Salim, V. Musso, F. Parrado and H. Xiangsong all got into double digits to power the team pass FuTureSG. Despite the defeat, manager FuTureSG is still confident in their defense of their title, "Perhaps we have taken the Jaguars too lightly, but this is only the first game, we still have 20 games to win. The team is still confident to defend the title successfully!"

I'm glad to take him back. I always try to have a few good local players in my team. After all, I'm a team from Singapore and would like to have some local guys so the fans can relate to.

Great to see Wang back! Do send him my regards :)

FuTureSG suffers second defeat (by Eric Press Release)

Defending champion, FuTureSG fought hard but failed narrowly by 3 points at Golden Beach Arena. J. Tiquet, S. Weng Hong and M. Pesti scored 22, 19 and 17 points respectively but wasn't enough to snatch a win as they were out-rebounded 56-75 by Shwe Toe Ngal. Despite the setback, the away fans were still firmly behind FuTureSG.

Elsewhere, an impressive 141-99 win by Compassvale United powers them to the top of Great 8. R. Kallas and J. Gosse were the star of the show with 36 and 33 points respectively. Pundits were impressed and predicts Compassvale United to be finally challenging for SBBL glory this season.
