Interesting moves.
In the last week they sold an aging star in Dusza and an aging backup player; a move that netted them nearly 300k and an opportunity to get younger and evolve their team for the future or expand the arena.
Today alone they've blown over 1,000,000 on acquisitions that dont make sense to me. The newly acquired players range in age from 20 to 30, in height from 6' - 6'10" and potential from allstar to superstar. Nobody above 15k salary so I doubt any will be complete dominators in the league. Varying heights and potential levels make me doubt this was a move to acquire young talent to train as the future of the franchise.
Add in the increase of 53k combined salaries for a mediocre team that should be banking as much as possible until they can truly make a run at a championship and I'm truly perplexed.
If this wasnt an effort to aquire trainable young guys and damn sure isnt enough to propel a 6-6 team to the upper echelon of the league what the hell was the point? I project this to be the single biggest fail in IV.28 by the end of the season. The only positive thing I can see in this is that their team is rather deep now (deep with 10k guys...)
