I'm personally on a long term project (for fun) to develop some 40% three-point shooting

The only way I see this happening is getting someone to JS/JR 18+ and then dropping down to div III. Or lower. It would be interesting to see if a complete junk team guesses your exact offensive/flow strategy, and that 18/18 guy shoots 10%.

my friend has a 45 percent 3pt shooting with around 14 js 11jr against league average od something like 9-10 so basicly if league 1 average od is like 18 on pg-sf spot then you need like 20 20 to shot like 40 percent:D

WHat i have noticed if i face equal Od like my outside shooting rating i shot 25 percent, this should be 33 percent then JS would be worth efforts. now you will never get ppp over ,75 with outside shooting against decent defence and for 40 percent you need 1,2 ppp twice as much as you could get now. but atleast 33percent should be decent it would be like 1 ppp i think average eficiency is like 1,05 ppp in bb atleast in leagues iv played. And IS same rating against ID rating is like again 1,1 ppp, so whgat to choose? 0,75 or 1,1 ? Thats why LI dominates. You need higher skills to run outside higher skills summ, higher salary. I think the only real solution to engine is to tweak back the tweaked OD rating.

The funny thing is i manage to get average like 0,9 ppp runing outside tactics with average 14js 8,5jr on all my 5 guys while i can manage to get 0,85 ppp with like 7,5 IS average lol. is it fair? FLow doesnt count forget this argument i have flow higher than league average OD strong (low) at starting five passing 14 14 10 10 15

Hopefully we will have this feature in PL also, and not only in scrimmages where it's completely useless since 99% of the time you're playing with scrubs and not your actual line-up...

you mean like testing for sb changes?

any testing should be for pl because:

1. weak scrim lineups
2. strong teams still in cup cannot test

I'm completely appalled to see the developers loosing their time working on such poorly inspired development. It feels so wrong both from the thematic and gameplay perspectives.

If I wanted more guessing in a game, I would look for one of the numerous online Poker games.

Building a team for a specific strategy is not only fun and interesting and, it also has a very strong connection with real life team sports. Where coaches and players would rather put their pride in outplaying the opposition with their favourite strategy rather than faking and gambling to play a strategy opposite to their philosophy and skills.

History of basketball is full of teams that made a lasting legacy using specific tactics.
There is allready enough means to try to suprise the opponent with the current choices possibilities. Just make some under used tactics more interesting.

And their opponents "guessed" they were going to play these tactics almost every time and specifically prepared for them. The fact is, that didn't matter much because such teams are that dominant. Nothing seems to indicate that won't be true here either.

Basically, they just finished their job in killing outside offences, anyone with a outside offense team was bad before, now they are done fore.
