Change something
I'd say change something without anybody asking. Change something without a plan. Change something without listening to advice (and having to covertly revert the changes).

There have been a series of bad decisions, which took from a valid premise or were aimed at addressing a real problem, but did so in the wrong way, usually affecting other aspects of the game because of reasons that were never explained to the userbase and so, many of us concluded that the BBs and EGMs are either not very smart+arrogant, not listening or don't have the technical ability to do certain things. I think it's a combination of the above, but the main issue is that the communication with the staff and the devs is almost nonexistant, so nobody clearly explains decisions in depth and addresses the concerns and if new problems arise is there to listen to what people say.

Communication is something that can be changed, devs also could be changed. Hey maybe Marin has been working for years to redo the whole GE so that he can tweak it more easily and it is more realistic, but he never mentioned it to anyone.

The biggest problem at the moment seems to be so few new users signing up.

I believe we need at least 1000 new users every week for at least a year to get back on track.
Second we need to find out, how many new users stay and what the biggest reasons are they stop.

Without new blood, we are dying!

The BBs should be looking at those figures. Are they? Who knows?

I agree with you in general, very well put, only one thing.
When it comes to lack of communication, i would be more cautious generalising the blame to the whole spectrum of BBs-EGMs-GMs, at least on certain aspects of it.

It is clear to me that communication is also broken between the staff members themselves.

We've witnessed changes that were unknown to the rest of the staff for seasons and they eventually found out about them alongside the rest of us, while reading the global forum...
We've witnessed changes that were unknown to the rest of the staff and they found out when the whole thing glitched and admission of the changes had to be made in the bugs forum...
We are now witnessing our BUG reports(including those of GMs) taking 4-7 days for an initial response from the BB in charge...

This is the truth no matter how much we try to avoid it by seeking cover behind our finger...

I usually don't type on forums because, I don't know much about the whole aspect of the game, . I'm kind of new here, 3rd season now.

My 1st issue with the game is lack of fairness to start, Now I don't know for 100% sure. But it seems like way too many long time experienced managers in the bottom leagues with huge bank accounts. This create a huge gap in competing. i have read there's a $25 million limit before tax occurs, Imho that is very insanely unfair to compete with in my level of play versus a long time experienced manager. i had seens mangers in own league of play spend $2-5 million for players.

My second issue is training time limits, training seems to be very, very slow and restricted to just 1-2 positions. 1 on 1 seems to be very effective at the same time very unrealistic in building, a well rounded team long term.
