I might even wanna relegate to Div.II. I can just try and win the Cup to go to the B3.

why a lot of people, i'd say nearly 100% of the player in the II division, don't want to get promoted to the DI ? i think, just wondering, something is going really wrong with this game...

and it's the same with the people from III division to the II.

i hope i'm wrong thinnking about that, but i'm quite sure i'm not

Wow, I've never seen that much nonsense in 1 post. Do you even believe your own words? Please don't project your own opinion as everybody's else.

I'm not completely sold on the changes but I still want to wait and see what happens. We still don't really know the impact since we cannot predict the impact on ticket sales.

I'm still going to try to promote to division I in Canada. I have already expanded my arena twice in the past 2 weeks. I will keep cash on hand in case I need to expand more.

I figure that if I can sell out my arena, I should still be making more money than I did this season in division II. That's if I sell out.

And I know the Italian situation is just the same as anywhere else: not entirely known what the effects are going to be... Has it ever crossed the mind of all you DII and lower managers that by promoting your season ticket sales will explode? And that the only way to profit from the positive change in number of spectators is to play a game against teams with high fan bases? Guess what: that's also 1 division higher then your current 1. In my opinion the changes that are going to be made are to slow down the economie, so that the gap between divisions will be increasing slower then it has been the last couple of months, not to close it... But if you really want to stay where you are, and hope to get the same chance on promotion as you have right now, be my guest...

Since you have the best record in the DBA Pro A I'm not buying it.

If it was someone continually finishing 5th or 6th place, that (w/o seeing the entire ramifications of the changes), actually seems feasible.

that's it. the problem is the arena. not everybody have a lot of money to expand the arena from 5k places to 15k places. just a few teams have the arena bigger than 15k places in DI and bigger than 10k in DII.

anyway we'll see, good luck to everybody in the first 2 divisions.

I think that if people do not want to promote, the problem is with them, not the game. It is, if I am not mistaken, a G-A-M-E. If it's making people upset or whatever, maybe it's time to try a new hobby. Win, lose, or bankrupt, I am doing this for fun.
And it's pretty darn fun.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

the problem of many italian top teams is they never expanded their arena (at least not much) saying "it's useless" so those changes caught them off guard

considering the current way the attendance is calculated not expanding much the arena wasn't a wrong decision, because italy's top division is so equilibrated (does this word exist?) every team loses many matches

however i believe a promotion is always welcome
