But buying more scouting points could solve this.

You should be able to find all the best 18 year olds by investing $40k per week. I am not sure how you can do any better than that.

However, if this is implemented, extra scouting points should be really expensive (you have to pay your scouts overtime and to fly them around the world). They should start at $20-30K per point. It should always be cheaper to buy the points at the scheduled time.

Yeah it would be cool to have an option of spending 50k to buy 1 additional scouting point but I don't know if they could allow that seeing as how not everyone could afford it.

the option i thought there considering is reseting all teams who spent points between the release and the fix , not just the teams that went negative.

the rest of the users lists stay the same this way there is only a reset for those that could have been effected.

which to me is perfectly fair.

either way ill be happy , i have a great list as is :)

No, this is not good,,,, If you had spend enough money during season, everything would have been OK. This option is not good...

with every financial update you can invest 5, 10, 20 or 40 K$ to get 1, 2, 3 or 4 scouting points

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

Hey, I study finance & I can understand only one thing if users will buy scouting points:

1. market prices will go in the sky for talented players, but not only for them. So, market want some time to be relaxed again, but during this, young talented players will lose time without training. There will be only an elite of managers who will buy & train this players (even I will be part of this elite).

But this is not fair...

If anyone have studied finance, can understand what I said...

We have decided that we will not be doing any further resets of the scouting system.

The issue with negative scouting points affected 177 users - that's .3% (1/3 of 1%) of all users globally - we're not going to reset the entire system due to such a small error margin.

Perhaps something like:
100k per week for 8 scouting points. And 200k for 12 scouting points.
That way it costs less if you scout more efficiently over the season, but those that wish to spend more have the option to do so.

Its not the same to give money each week and at specific time, on your own wish.

There are just too many things that goes to "your" advantage.
