So you think I should draft the guard because I already have a SF?

Depending on his judgement he had an 10k SF who makes 8 ratings there, the sf you probadly mean could be easily an false classied guard like the most SF here.

True, I have a SF like that on my squad. But I was just thinking about players like (14597229), he is the same caliber of player as a 25-30k guard or a 30-45k big. Same with (8868669) who on the NT with lowest salary on the USA NT but makes the impact of a 200k player. I was hoping that his SF was the same kind of SF. That is why I thought he should draft the guard who will train quickly.

but those SF are rare, and i could you show a lot more examples of 60-70k sf who might have the value like 20-30k Shooting Guards because this border isn't that perfectly implemented.

The salary argument would be more a pro to the sf in my eyes anyway, even when it also might end as a multiskilled PF which would be leading to an higher salary so it is a draw.

That and the guard will train faster than the 6'6 Sf/PF,that's my personal opinion. but at the end it is your choice, there are as many saying that you should draft the other way.

Also do you like box scores as a way of figuring out players skills because the guard didn't have a good game.

I personally disregard the box score except for FTs, minutes played(stamina) and maybe 3pt shooting made but remember this is a BB rookie not a real life rookie. BB rookies usually aren't instant impact player anyways; they need to be trained.

So 23 minutes means he will probably have low stamina?

I think the biggest reason is that the Guard will be much easier to train.

But there will be lots of people training USA guards for the U21 team, so there is more "competition". If you want to get to the U21 you go with player B and make him into a SF (so you pray his OD is not too low to start). I don't know how anyone could think it is a better bet to get the PG onto U21. Sure he trains faster but will you have a superior or higher trainer to compete with all the other people trying to get onto the U21 squad? Plus who's to say you won't be "competing" against 6'0 PGs that come out with A+ skills? There is no guarantee of course but I think the higher probability clearly lies with player B. Also, what is a player position with 'Respectable' in all skills? I believe it is a PF ;)
