Right now the draft provides nothing, gives teams nothing. I AM suggesting that teams be given something, of value, so that the top teams do not...stay stuck at the top with no way down but intentionally tanking it.

So giving free new starters to top teams is your solution for them not being "stuck at the top"?

I suggested - like 2 years ago - that the draft should be removed and be replaced by youth teams.

In my opinion it is pretty clear that a draft system can only work in a closed league like the major US-pro sports where you have to distribute talent so that the smaller teams wont fall behind and the competition remains somewhat interesting. The BB-world is modeled after european pro-leagues, so adding a draft (that clearly caters the "needs/desires" of US-users) does not work here.

If teams can get promoted and demoted such a system fails, so we would be better off to allow teams to grow their own players - lets say those lads start at 16 or even 14 and we managers can develop them. The higher the spendings the better the output, thats a clear and fair solution, compared to the gamble the draft is now.

OR we finally get some players in the draft that are useful - I think it could be pretty cool to draft a 22 year old gem that is "ready" to play and only needs some polish, instead of some 18 year old loaf that needs at least four seasons of training.

Who has a bigger overall income. The top division. So again, you are creating a system where the rich get the best result, while the lower divisions sit in the dust.

Top division will always have a higher potential income, if thats wrong too its best to shut down the game completely...

Yes but tieing "draft" to who has the most money, leaves the lower leagues empty handed. U been bullied by commies as a child?

You are either a communist or a Greek if you complain about the rich being rich.

As long as we have a pyramid like league structure there will be a few teams per country that make a lot of money and a great number of teams that struggle financially. Where is your rant about too expensive scouting costs for low tier teams? Training elite players is impossible for DIVIII downward - is that unfair too?

It's not impossible. Training players is your income in the lower leagues and it's certainly not impossible to train a NT player in lower leagues.
You better take up the history book again and read what communist means (hint: no different divisions allowed). We are not talking about equality in a sense of everyone must have the same options. We are trying to balance the game, so lower divisions have their niche.
