The MVP of the first half was one of the Clawz players.

The MVP award is a regular season award without regard to the All-Star game since only 10 players from each conference are selected. The stats from playoffs and relegation series are not factored in since not every team is involved.

The problem with the All-Star game is that nobody plays defense. There were only 2 fouls called in the entire game.

Greg Case has the best player rating in the entire league while C Manfrotto has the best player efficiency on their team, SF Faga leads their team in scoring, PF Jungjohann leads their team in rebounding, and PG Zuniga leads the entire league in assists. Clawz has the best starting lineup but an injury to any of their starters would hurt them the most.

Last season Zuniga received more MVP votes than Case. This season Faga, Zuniga, and Manfrotto received more All-Star votes than Case although they all play different positions.

I know it has nothing to do with the All-Star game. I'm joking that the best player in an exhibition game is a more accurate way of choosing the season MVP than the way BuzzerBeater currently chooses one.

I had the best player in the league last season (Visconti) and he didn't get a single vote for MVP. That's because I manage my minutes and train players by having them play out of position. Schmoeller won the MVP last season because he played 48 min in EVERY game for Icers and was the only player on his team who made over 10k/wk in salary. Icers also had a player come in seventh place in the voting who made 9k/wk in salary, and he also played 48 min in every game.

How do you win MVP? Make sure your best player never leaves the floor and ignore his plummeting game shape.

Oh, and.... Medrano > Manfrotto :)

Medrano > Manfrotto

All-Stars and MVPs are not necessarily the best players but the players who put up the best numbers. My personal definition of MVP is the player who means the most to his team. Medrano means more to his team but Manfronto puts up better numbers.

Medrano as the franchise is a better rebounder but he does not have MVP numbers. Manfronto while surrounded by 4 All-Stars and playing fewer minutes scores more points with a higher player rating.

Josh Floyd of EMPORIA LAKERS is a one-man team who always plays 48 minutes and leads the league with 37.2 ppg to become an MVP candidate.

The players from Clawz take MVP votes away from each other. Their stats are not spectacular because they share the scoring load. I am surprised that they don't play play major minutes since Clawz doesn't have a deep bench. I have the deepest bench so my guys don't need to play so many minutes.

My players don't have any business getting MVP votes this season since I'm rebuilding. I hope I don't get any votes.

By my theory, Josh Floyd will win the MVP.

The MVP of the first half was one of the Clawz players.

You might be right about Floyd as the MVP. Zuniga of Clawz is a better PG who actually received more All-Star votes than Floyd but playing 31.6 min and averaging 16.0 ppg while sharing the ball with 4 All-Stars will not get Zuniga the MVP.

It was SG Chase of Clawz who scored 59 points in the All-Star game and he also received more All-Star votes than Floyd but he plays 29.5 min and averages 17.6 ppg which are not MVP numbers for the same reason.

By my own definition of MVP Floyd means more to his team that any player in the league. Unfortunately his team might go bot before they get relegated.

In a possible Finals preview uthinkuknow beat Clawz 103-94 to take over the top spot in the power rankings. Zuniga played 48 minutes and scored 35 points but it was not enough.

Rhino without 2 starters out with an injury lost to Diamantes 107-83.

We have two teams at 13-1 that will collide in the final game of the regular season, uthinkuknow @ Diamantes.

A good game for Tuesday would be Diamantes @ Clawz. Through a glitch in the system this is the 6th straight season that Diamantes plays against Clawz on the road. To add insult to injury the Diamantes starting SG will miss the game with an injury. The value of a deep bench..........

Clawz beat Diamantes 93-87 to claim the number 2 spot in the power rankings. My backup SG held Case to 12 points but we came up short.

With the Lords tanking most of the season this is the Final 4 that I expected to see. The Lords did spend $3.4 million on 4 very good players toward the end of the season and they gave Clawz a scare in the playoffs.

Clawz came close to winning it all a few times with 7 straight Final 4 appearances but injuries came at the wrong time and this could be their season.

Rhino made some good money from the sale of several players and they put it to good use in building up a very strong roster with a 248k payroll.

Uthinkuknow has the best record with the highest PD and that valuable home court advantage throughout the playoffs.

Diamantes are in the Final 4 for the 4th sraight season but the Great 8 Champion went on to win the championship the past 2 seasons.

Josh Floyd was not the MVP because his former team EMPORIA LAKERS went bot and Floyd no longer plays in this league.

Matteo Salatino was a surprise selection who is a fine center but he did not put up great numbers while surrounded by 3 other All-Stars. Uthinkuknow would still be in the Final 4 without him.
