ok... i dont understand why people want it ALL in these kind off games.

there are level 1-7 coaches, doctors and pr guys. See it in proportion. In a country where there are 7 leagues, teams in league 1 should have and be able to afford level 7 coaches, in league 2 should have and be able to afford level 6 coaches etc etc I am sure you understand what I am trying to get at. Off course there could be some overlap, but a division 3 or 4 team shouldnt be able to afford a level 6 or 7 coach!!!

It would be very unrealistic for Accrington Stanley to be able to afford Mourinho as coach/manager. Or in basketball terms, a team in the 4th division in Holland can't afford a NBA coach. Why should it be different in this game?? Why should a lower level team have the cream de la cream off players in the lower division??

I play in Italy division II. When i play an home game my weekly net income is about 10k (that means my season balance is negative). At the moment it is very hard for me to replace my current level 5 trainer (salary 28k) with a cheaper one.

I don't want the old staff system back, but the recent changes altogether (economy, staff, potential) have made the economic management much more difficult and more relevant in the game.

I am not saying you are wrong or I totally disagree, or trying to fix what I am saying, but in general there always is an exception to the rule. To be honest, the Italian league is a league on its own. What I mean by this is that the italian leagues are WAY TOO STRONG!!! compared to the rest off the world. Maybe a few others countries are like this too, but not as extreme as the italian league.

Ok you might say what does he mean, i will try and explain. I have played a few PL's and some italian teams I played against were from the division IV and V. I am playing in division II in England and I am one off the better teams. I got absolutely hammered by these Italian IV and V teams and I did play my best players. This means that in order to be competitive in the Italian league you need to buy good players with high salaries. That is rotten for Italian players, but not a general problem for most leagues. (i might be wrong with this, I am sure you can understand I didn't check all the leagues one by one)

I might be totally wrong and will get people annoyed by saying this, but I think the new staff system was more or less implemented by the idea or something similar as I explained in the post you replied too, and it works well for 95% off the leagues. Does this mean the implementation is wrong? No I doubt it is, but it will suck for the other 5% and I think the Italian teams fall in that bracket... You aren't doing well in your league. I don't know why, didn't have a close look, but the problem you are talking about, I believe is a problem many Italian coaches will have. They will mostly have to cut their costs and in the long term the new staff system will also work for the inflated Italian leagues... (I wouldnt wonder when the USA, Spain, Germany and a few other countries have similar issues)

with the right arenas you could still earn a lot of money ... In germany most first division teams make around 100k each week, the team with 320k salary even more ;) Div II with big arena also make big money.

@topic: what happens with the guys who spend 2 million or more for a level 7 trainer, when we roll back the system?

You do realize that I probably wont post something like that unless I had some sort of idea it was the truth, right?

The probability is high that you are right here, but in the end the BB have to say it.
