I don't think it's fair to go after somebody's FOREIGN language skills. I mean math is a world wide thing, however English is something not everybody knows (let's not forget this is a global game). I'd like to see you type what he typed in Polish lol.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not all angry or anything like that. I just don't think that language barriers should be causing problems within the BB community.
I agree completely. This is a global board.

(I forgot to change it "to everybody" sorry)

Quid isn't an actual currency, it's a nickname (but you probably know this). Anyway I think it's about $85. Cheers mate!

i made a chart, i dont know if im right but its how i analyze when to buy a new trainer

lets start if your trainer reaches 30k salary a week already ( level 5 reference ), since you bought a new one you pay additonal one week for the guy that is 30k plus the bidding for the new guy which has 150k for example. so thats total to 180k

in the event that the newly bought guy has a salary for exmaple of 19k a week,

i try to subtract the amount if you retain your old guy vs getting a new guy

old trainer new difference
salary trainer
salary
30000 19000 11,000
30675 19428 11,248
31365 19865 11,501
32071 20312 11,759
32792 20769 12,024
33530 21236 12,294
34285 21714 12,571
35056 22202 12,854
35845 22702 13,143
36651 23213 13,439
37476 23735 13,741
38319 24269 14,050
39181 24815 14,367
40063 25373 14,690
40965 25944 15,020
41886 26528 15,358
42829 27125 15,704
43792 27735 16,057
44778 28359 16,418

i find it since i shell out 180k to get the new guy i need to keep him around 14-15 weeks so my initial expenses to get him will pay off. because at the end of the 14 week i save around 178k already going for the new one instead of keeping the old.

then after that i can say its good decision to get a new trainer already. or in the sense you got your initial investment back.

It was actually more like $115 til about 3 months ago. Now about $95 I'd say.

I just think this new coach system is ridiculous. It doesn't make sense at all. A level 2 staff member can get after several weeks the wage for a much higher level of staff member, but his performances stay the same. That's totally crap.

Why don't we at least say that the staff member, as his wages grow, also grows in experience and skill. And therefore, after several raises he does a better job, because he gets to know the team and becomes more experienced in his work. To say, a trainer or a doctor always stay equal during their whole career is not only unrealistic, it's also very disrespectful towards the PR Managers and trainers that are doing their job right now as I write here in this forum to make their team better. ;)

Seriously, it's nonsense and not thought until the end. Just take look at the prices for a level 5 trainer. They are unaffordable no matter when you log in.

I liked the old system much more, where coaches also randomly raised their performances or lost skill.

Best,

You are in division 4. Would Phil Jackson be available to your team?
My team can afford a level 5 trainer.

No, but neither would a coach in League 4 ask for more money each 4 weeks. There would be promotions, in case the team's doing good, yes. But there won't a raise every 3-4 weeks. That's so unrealistic.

I understand your point, and you're right, it owuld not be ok if I could afford a Phil Jackson. On the other hand, my low level 4 coach would in 2 seasons ask me for the same money as Phil would ask me. And what I tried to explain is, it would make sense, in case the talents of the coach rise with his demands of money. So I can justify somehow to give him more money and stay with him, or to look for a cheaper coach again, because I would not be able to afford him.

Right now, you are somehow forced to fire the coach after a certain time because his performance would be absolutely not equivalent to what wage he asks for.

And by the way: Why take away the chance for coaches to get better? COaches get better, too. With every game, with every decision they learn. It seems just unfair to me. It gives me the image as if the staff I hire is a ruthless greedy pack of wolves, who just want a raise every week without improving their work (I know they don't, because their level doesn't change).

Normally staff should be the poles for the team so everything can function how it should, not a greedy moneyeating organization.

Those are good points.

However, you know how much your coach's salary is going to go up each week depending on what level he is. So, You can figure out exactly how much money he is going to cost you for a full season. So, you can look at like he is under a one season contract for x amount of dollars to be paid incrementally. Sort of like a baseball player who signs a seven year deal , making slightly more each season. Maybe if you looked at it like that it wouldn't make you so mad.
