thanks!
was tight through the first half then opened up in the third. for whatever reason Balan didn't have much of a game at PF which helped. rocket's SF, trivellin, has to be the dollar for dollar best SF in the league. whatever the skills, he's a lot of value for under 23k per week. congrats on the great cup run rocket!
looked pretty dire for me a few weeks ago when I hit all that injury trouble head on with cup games against silverbacks and ambitious. timed a couple purchases perfectly. i had been tracking alderete and troia for more than a season. the latter hadn't been on the list in awhile too.
nice to get back to training this week, and back to the B3 next season.

congrats, Brian! :) Have to ask - I noticed your team is able to consistently draw fouls very successfully. Based on your experience, do you think high driving/handling has helped in this?
I was quite happy that at least the first half was competitive. And very happy to get that silver. Probably the best cup I may get in my BB career. :)
my man Trivellin is my best all-round defender - and definitely one of my best buys ever. Unfortunately, I am sad to say I did not do him enough justice as I gave up on training him to try to stay in the NBBA.

I have focused on improving driving with recent purchases. Maybe a good question for AZ as well, I recall his team has been good at drawing fouls.
edit - FWIW, gardner drew the most fouls last night of my bigs and he has the lowest driving.

Well 1 season in the NBBA has been fun. I never thought when I joined this game that I would even make it here. Time to sell off and see if I can salvage a team that will survive in D2 for awhile. And maybe the draft will be nice to me =p
Good luck to all in the future!

D2 Quick Summary
II.1
: shikago's favorite team, the BloodyEagles, managed by Eagle, took game one on the road from former NBBAer cws and the EDH Wolves. The Eagles had a home game to close it out today, but they appear to be tanking? Maybe a deal was made to secure game 3 $$?
II.2
: The Mad Angels and manager grim_reaper have HCA and a Game 1 victory vs Dinosaurs Bone and manager the FORCE. There will be a rookie NBBA team from II.2.
II.3
: Peluin and the Visionaries took Game 1 at home after Chekreyes and the Flash Mashers decided to tank. Visionaries have a high salary D2 team and look like a heavy favorite to return to the NBBA.
II.4
SaulTNuts and 10inch Vertical have HCA and a 1-0 series lead over manager Dmitri and his team, Delta 9. SaulTNuts looking to end 9 seasons of II.4 purgatory.
