WTF, I didn't have a home game this week? I thought I already had a week without a home game?
Well, this is why they release the schedule at the beginning of the season in its entirety so you can plan ahead financially.
You had a home game to start the season, and your only game over All-Star Week was home, and you have 3 of 4 at home to finish the season. So while it sucks to have weeks where you don't have home attendance, just like everyone else, it makes up for it in other weeks.
I had 3 consecutive road games...last game of conference play and the first two games of inter-conference play, and my All-Star Week game was a road game.
I have always referred to these particular two schedules as "The bankruptcy schedules". If you go into the season with money, or little needs as far as roster movement, it's okay, because what you lose mid-season you gain back at the end...but if you go into the season with little to no money, and/or need to make some roster moves to be competitive, it can be brutal navigating around those weeks where you don't have a home game...especially if you're carrying a payroll higher than you really should be, and running a large negative in weekly revenue/expenses.
