We do try to fight. THe question is what day are you fighting for pappy

i did my damndes last year and put up a hell of a fight.

The sad thing was i had too many old trainees. Tough to play young trainees since my big men were so "meh"

So i could keep playing older trainees scrap out 11-11, get another 3-4 mil in the bank and make another run, or punt. When greer got hurt to start the year (my overall best player in spite of the salary), and then another injury, then some rotten luck, my upside diminished to 7-15. I focused on the cup but then got a shitty draw early (9 straight road games in the cup, i know the odds of that, i guess it will happen to 1/10 users or so over some point in their career), then just realized that Lathrop improved tons (credit to the dude), the 1 new guy we had coming up didnt totally suck, and my team wasnt getting younger.

now i have a new problem. 10 mil and how to spend it?

I think that it would be best at this point to wrap this thing up and for all of us to forget about it...

Why is this even being debated?

Props for the shout out though!! This was by far the toughest season of my tenure. I'm happy I was able to pull through in the end and at least make the playoffs.

And no reason to bring U21 into this at all. That is a completely different scenario.

I am only speaking as a former member of this division and can understand a little of the frustration here.

I voted for you because I expected you to pit the best effort. As a hold over from HT you saw some pretty shady stuff done by the nt manager. The result is you question everything as thought it's what you do with any team under your control. If you wo your own match, where does that type of tactic you use end?

Guy, cut him some slack. He is 0-2 in finals that tactically he didn't play very well. Then he had hear about it for the last 6 months. Yes you have been in this division too, but as you saw dhoff and Sharon prop you up- I am sure he feels kinda alone - ya think?

Either way you both have been there too long - good luck to both of you and hope the bot goes there so there is little question for the other team the next season

The only reason I would use a WO in the U21 team would be to manuever into a more optimal group. I thought about it this season going into the Peru game, but the benefits (a group with two tough teams as opposed to three) wasn't enough to justify the means and damage it could do. Plus it would be unfair to the managers with players on the team. So the situation would have to be quite drastic to justify a WO with the U21 team. I also put it up for discussion on the offsite forums as I wouldn't make a decision like that without input from others.

I cut him 16 points of slack with even enthusiasm in Game 1.

My post wasn't meant as some sort of dig on Sig's tactical acumen, more on the fact that he should know by now that he has by far the better team.

I was under the impression that all bots demoted to the bottom division in a country at season's end. That said, I think we'll probably end up with Juice or TWSS.

nth won't bot until 1 week after Promotion/Relegation, so he's gonna be in II for a season.

Let's all congratulate Hobo's on a great season and title run. Good luck up in the NBBA where the real money is (because it sure isn't in II)

Congrats, Sig. Hope you have better luck this time around.

And feel free to give me shit about my tactics in game 2 for the next six months
