Bye or

Moi Moi, Moikka, Hei Hei, Moido, Heippa, Morjens, Moro

Seriously,

Daytrading kills fun for people who just wanna play an BASKETBALL Manager and not a TRADING COMPANY.

And btw, you don´t need skills for DT, you only need a lot of time. Daytrading has nothing to do with basketball knowledge.

If this is still such and issue sine the agent fees, why not just up the fees to say , 50% for the first month. and then 5% less fee every week after the 1st month.

Can we avoid the sweeping generalizations on these issues?

As long as there is a player market in BB, there will be some form of player trading for profit. This is inevitable, and I don't think anyone really wants to get rid of the transfer market. It is not bad for the game either, as long as the situation is under control

On the other hand, teams that buy and sell a large amount of players should be prepared to face penalties on their current performance. This is something that is not implemented yet, but is absolutely necessary and is, I believe, currently considered by the development team.

Beyond this, everything is propaganda. Slogans like, "Trading is evil, just becase" are naive and not very useful in discussing the situation.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

Indeed.

I asked someone why they proposed something in a suggestion thread that was ongoing.

"Because I felt like it."

Extremely unproductive.

Tivoli came up with an idea:
Lets do it like in the real world (fiba rules):
A Player can only change his team once a season.

you may agree or not with it, but you cannot put in his mouth words he did not say.

Please note that I refer not to _what_ should be done, but _why_.

Without assessing the reasons for any kind of action or the problems that require it, how can you you be sure what you're suggesting is the most effective solution? Or if it is effective _at all_? So yeah, this is still propaganda, in a way.

352 messages... I think there are reasons enough :)
Then, again, each person has his own opinion.

We do not expect to give the 'most effective solution'. We (or at least I) only want to give some suggestions and then we leave to the BBs the responsibility to chose what is the best :P

I think that daytrading is a some kind of "legal cheating"... and I see that even on BuzzerBeater will be the battle between a best teams - just a battle between the best cash flow

players are just a goods to buy or sell, is that right?:)

I didn't say there are no reasons. There are plenty I am just curious how people come up with suggestions on the fly, while clearly not analyzing the problem.

Just for the record, I don't think daytrading per se is a problem at all. The problem is that you can accumulate significant profits at little or no cost in terms of performance. There are many ways to resolve the issue. Limits on the number of transfers, IMHO, is not the most effective of them in terms of gameplay.
