:)
Created history for SBBL by winning 3 times in a row for the cup!
Well considered kinda lucky eversince i sold my center at end of last season :x

It was a great match and was honoured that my players played with the likes of Fang Shuang Xiang and Eike Balkhausen.

Well i do see that SBBL is getting livelier and the competition is getting tougher, good luck next season, anybody can be a winner~

4 times i've won the cup... but my biggest headache is still during playoffs.. I only like won it twice or thrice :x

SBBL at a glance...midway of Season 15...

Big 8
1. Shohoku Backers
Still steadily positioning themselves at #1 of Big 8 conference although there're major resurgence at big 8, heartbreaking loss to Whampoa on Tournament Quarter Final, and the departure of captain Ow Pin Keong and veteran Diego Batto. Newcomer Jason Peachey & Eldad Galam have no problem to blend in with the team that still anchored by their 1-2 punch Aniol Soler (24ppg 7asts) & Sertug Acay (15ppg 12rpg). And the presence of Cataldo Momente will keep reminding this team to work hard for an encore to league Final again.

2. The Donkeys
Donkey is back to SBBL this with trio of biggies, Iranian's Ahmed Ismail (12ppg 11reb 1.7bpg) and French veteran Damien Petitjean (17ppg 10rpb), and Josbutas Ciuchlatas (13ppg 14rpg 3apg). Surprisingly started the Season 15, before slowing down at this middle of season, but still staying put at 2nd positing 9-5 on Big 8, slightly below Shohoku Backers (10-4). But lacking of a guy running their point could hurt Donkeys to improve their record.

3. Singapore Showstoppers
Best offensive team in SBBL. Lead by Edmundo Cabral (23ppg, 4apg, 5rpg), Émilien Montiel (18ppg 4apg) and Alfredo Coutinho (18ppg), the Showstoppers are clinging at 3rd spot on Big 8 conference. They are also improving their bigman position by acquiring a skillful bigman Pedro Pineda (12ppg, 10pg 4apg).

4. Sessioes Doers
Team with plenty of promising talents and handful of bench players. Led by sharpshooter Ricardo Paz (25ppg), NT performers like Eike Balkhausen (11ppg, 13rpg, 3apg) and Phil Hanson (18ppg, 14rpg). Nederlands Cees Jan Hagebeek is running the point, averaging a modest 8ppg and 8apg. And SD's bench players consist of Mah Shun Kwang (25mpg, 14ppg), veteran Raymond Starre (5ppg, 4rpg - see his rating), ex U21 Lim Wee Min (20mpg, 11ppg) and Slovensko Sensation František Šarvan (6ppg 3rpg). This season Tournament, SD's achieved their highest mark by reaching the Grand Final to fight Whampoa All-Stars, and almost pulled of a biggest upset of the Final.

5. Eric United
Defending Champion 3 seasons ago, still on their way revamping their roster, which is the reason they are still on mediocre record of 7-7. Led by their two longtime tenure players, Milan Vukic (15ppg, 11rpg) and Alfredo Montecucco (19ppg 6apg 5rpg). Fu Erqiang (18ppg 6apg 5rpg), Sebastião Fabião (16ppg) and Brieuc Duvivier (14ppg) are prominent wing players that always thrives in running game. But with the emergence of Singapore Showstopper and Sessioes Doers will make difficult for Eric United to crack playoff position. Plus, the Whampoa All-Star is wanting one spot as well.

6. Whampoa All-Stars
Solid contender even without Karoly "the Juggernaut" Raffay. This season Whampoa is expected to take a step back, but unexpectedly stormed steadily, scored a three peat for their Tournament Championship, beating Shohoku Backers, Lycans BB, and Sessioes Doers. Duo Clutch Veteran, Arthur Hottinger (26ppg) & David Hurtado (19ppg) won't be missed out for each victories that really count. NT player Ng Chao Huat keeps maturing (16ppg 8apg), probably the finest SGP PG, and hist mentor, Falko Rogali (12ppg 8apg) is covering him from behind the bench. New acquisition, Fraziskus Detjen (11ppg 14rpg), proved clucth as well as his success on slowing down biggies like Fang Shuang Xiang & Eike Balkhausen. Whampoa keep solidfying their game recently by beating SBBL hottest team Pekanbaru Jaguars 103-91 at Jaguars' home. Jaguars Petrus Alexandersson, SBBL no.1 rebounder, was held to 10rebounds, his lowest this season.

7. Xavis
Used to be top 4 at big 8 conference, but still haven't had improvement this season. Led by their bigman Hugo Pečovnik (18ppg 11rpg) and Pravdomil Mlýnek (13ppg 14rpg). Julian Anas was out of shape this season, avg only 15ppg, 5 less than last season 20ppg. Weak perimeter defense is the biggest achiless heel for Xavis. Could be threatened to slip down to Div II due to tight competition on Big 8 conference.

8. Lycans BB
Once the hottest team in league SBBL, but hitting some bad luck on this year. Lost 3 key players when they're facing Whampoa All-Stars, especially veteran Tan Yau Chang who seems fading this season. Fang Shuang Xiang (16ppg 14rpg) and Bolivian Sniper Juan Jose Castell (21ppg 4apg 5rpg) still led the team, and some role players like Ooi Tse Cheng (14ppg) and Michiyaki Tayama (11ppg, 5apg 4rpg). New veteran acquisition Enzo Paolo Gilotti (12ppg 9rpg) is to replace Mao Mingfeng and Dimitris Kavourakis, which just been sold away by the team. Lycans now is sitting on big 8 worst with 5-9 as expenses of their tournament commitment, but expected to climb back to the contention.

SBBL at a glance...midway of Season 15...

Great 8
1. Cheesecake
This season, Cheesecake enjoyed their finest performance, staying steadily at #1 position on division Great 8. Playing great outside game and excelled defensively, Cheesecake lead SBBL league in W-L record at 16-2. Justins Linde-Liepinš leads the team with 22.4ppg. Vincenc Katić, team best shooter, is second with 21.9ppg. Viktor Šrámek, their latest wingman star acquisition, booked solid all-around game with 19.6ppg, 5.3rpg, 3.7apg, 1.3spg. But the main reason for Cheesecake to stay strong were the hardwork of their two blue-collar guy, Rafael Vázquez & Felip Massana. Vazquez only averaging 5.9ppg but 12.3rpg, 3.2apg, 0.5spg and 2.4bpg undoubtly made him one of the best defender on SBBL. Felip Massana also has similar line, averaging 9.3ppg, team high 18rpg and 1.5bpg. Local hero, Tan Kim Wai, playing the reserve role, averaging 14.6ppg and 4apg in 24mpg. If cheesecake keep their game ballin, no doubt they will be the one that appearing on SBBL Final.

2. Pekanbaru Jaguars
Another hottest team on season 15. Recruited tons of wingmans, with combination of strong defensive-minded and sharpshooters in Thiseas Chantampakis (18.1ppg, 1.3spg) , Petrus Debrier(15ppg 4apg 1.3spg) and playmaker Sorin Niculae (21ppg 7.5apg). But Jaguars has to sacrifice Richard Ericsson, who has 4 season tenure with Jaguars and has been their main scorer for past 3 seasons. Aside of new acquisitions, Jaguars this season still led by the phenomenal play of Petrus Alexandersson (15ppg 20rpg 1.2spg 1.2bpg), who leads the SBBL in rebounding per game. Longest tenure veteran, Seki Skrebo, still hanging on with Jaguars, averaging 11.6ppg 3.5apg. Aside of fabulous foreigners, SGP U21ers Huo Xiang Song often being forgotten because of his modest 9ppg and 8rpg. His dirtywork and willingness to guard opposite star player has loosen up Petrus Alexandersson burden on the paint. One of Jaguars problematic issue is, the health of their key squad. Petrus Debrier and Chantampakis has combined 28 of injury days. Jaguar suffered 2 straight L when Chantampakis was nursing his right ankle.

3. Fat Alexander
The most consistent team performer in IBBL, offensive and defensively. Fat-A always made into at least Playoff Semifinalist in past 4 seasons. Gianpaulo Montecucco (24ppg 5apg), Yeo Tse Hui (24ppg 5apg 22spg), Noel Gimenez Guerra (13ppg 13ppg 2bpg), Evgenios Chaikalis (20ppg 7rpg 6apg), Amilcare Ricci (15ppg 11rpg), all of these 5 starters have already played like superstars and getting know to each other very well. This season, Fat-A has slowed down a bit due to sudden emergence of Cheesecake and Pekanbaru Jaguars, but for sure, the GM's will always pull some triggers for some surprising player shopping. Expect them to bring one more star to this team before playoff begins.

4. Birds Birds
Team that always have trademarked with strong Inside Def, still showing some power on this season thought of Great 8 teams emergence. Wilfried Hatterwüsting undoubtly the SBBL best bigman defender aside of cheesecake's Rafael Vazques and with Julio Vasco (20ppg 12rpg) alongside him, Birds Birds has the best twin towers here. Chinese shooter Wei Chunyao lead Birds with 20ppg, wingman Alfredo Erquiñigo has 17.4ppg and 7reb, and Alex Szanto has 17.6ppg and 5ast. The setback of this team is, threatened to be left by their owner by next week.

Nice write-up! Great 8 is stronger this season, maybe can break the Big 8 champion streak.

I love the write-ups too. Maybe something like this can be done to preview the playoffs when the match-ups are decided. It would add some additional excitement into the forum and SBBL in general
