From what I'm reading here, people just want more money. Big teams who usually finish 1st are defending their bread saying this is the end of BB. If you think 4th is a better way to win a league, well finish 4th and let's see.

People just want more money? No mate, people want just it was during 21 seasons before this one.
You are happy when you get less money?
Maybe you don't understand us because your biggest success is winning 2nd League? Then you got money for promotion, and what happen when some of us in 1st League win it, we all got a big 0.
Some users change the game it the way they like it, about the good managers no one cares.

You know what is the new award when you're good during the season and finish 1st? BB took from your 4 games 17% of money.
Long live the Cup (Tournament).

This is where we hold them!

I think lost in all this is the new 5th place
Who wants to finish there?
Well...Nobody!!
So won't we now be seeing teams happier to place 6th & 7th than 5th,
you have to pay salaries and now and with relegation games you get some money.
We have just transfered one of the problems elsewhere

You know how much money you lose by relegating? Any team aiming for 6th place and risking to lose their div by doing so (maybe because of an untimely injury) is invited to do so.

What the change really brings:

Place 5 is less interesting.
Place 4&3 have been upgraded and are for several reasons more interesting than place 6&7.
Place 1&2 still hold the upside by the (underestimated) homecourt advantage, but they lose some money.

Btw: Team 1 doens´t really lose that much, as in the final series over 2 or even 3 games you might actually end up getting more with the 50/50 than with the 66/33, at least if you´re underdog. So just the overall #1, who has HCA over the complete series is losing a bit (and only slightly, he might even play an opponent with a bigger arena than his own, making up for some).

We have no rights to say our opinion on forum? We must just shut up and all is fine with the changes? If it's so no problem, just say it. We have no right to discuss?

And I started in a III League.. and you don't get my point, it's obviously that you don't wont to get it.

@Soul Hunters.

Nice economy you have then.

If you're 1st you play 4 games home at PO. Your arena bring to you 660k.

1st game, 440k, now 330= -110k

110 * 4 games= 440k

The 1st team is loosing little, a bit, nice joke. Never mind..

You forget that you have also one game where you are gaining.
Your calculation is crooked.
If you´re not aiming just for money but for success, you´d lose roughly 280-300k. 3 home games and one away game where you actually earn more.

If you´d ask me, best change would be that any game 3 of a series had to be played without income. It´s pretty silly that teams lose game 2 intentionally just for fiscal reasons.

Also it is shortsighted. The 4th team has alot less wins, so you lose money (arena income) during the whole season compared to the guy on top. Sure you save some on the salaries, but I´m pretty sure that good management on the top, like you have shown over the last seasons, will earn more winning a league than tumbling around place 4-6.

You get a title, and you can play B3. Not worth it?

And you know, it´s easy to call for "make it more fair, more competitive" on the one hand, but you have to accept that "asking" requires "giving".

Teams giving by the changes?

Giving:
#1 overall, #1, #5, #5

Gaining:
#3, #3, #4, #4, #2, #2 (assuming that #1 has the bigger arena and #2 acutally manages to get things done in round 1)

Looks like a way to make things more competitve. What´s wrong with that?

The only ones crying are the #1 and #5 teams. While we all agree that #5 shall not cry, why would the #1? What do you expect? Is the BB universe build to keep teams on top forever or should it be a challenge and open to new users getting to the top?

There is 2 Teams in the league losing half a home game over the course of a season. Everyone to the escape please, worlds end is near!

I love hearing about D.1 teams complaining about making money. They have it SOOOOO rough.
