Coach Jeorge: Walang Yeng Guiao moves dun ahh.. di ko pinatira sa mga bata si Menga. masyado lang din siguro gigil ang mga players dahil sa first game ng season at medyo sariwa pa sa kanila ang pagkatalo sa Finals.
We wish na mapabilis ang recovery nya, as a competitor ayaw naman natin makita na may naiinjure tayo na kalaban.

Jeorgians escapes with a win vs SAS

Hitting two crucial treys in overtime, newly acquired Calvert Porter saved the day for Jeorgians. With the team down by one with 14 seconds to go, Porter calmly sank the winning three-pointer with Vladimir Grujin right in his face. he has only shot 1 three pointer, actually missing it, during the regulation but suddenly caught fire from beyond the arc during the overtime period. Also worthy of honorable mention are usual reliables Grandin and Solarta contributing 27 & 21 respectively.

Reporter: Calvert, what were you thinking during that shot?!
Porter: Nothing, I just wanted to do the right play. Coach gave the play to me, swerte lang din pumasok. Actually the whole game I was focused on getting inside eh nung pumasok yung unang tres nung OT i started to feel good with my outside shot. Yun, salamat din sa teammates ko kasi nung nakita nila na gumana shooting ko eh gave me the ball at the right spots.

Jeorge: Actually sinabi ko lang na isolate on the top para kay Calvert,sinabihan ko lang ung iba na pumunta sa open spots and be ready to shoot in case mag-sag ang depensa. Nakita ko din kasi na sya ang hot hand nung OT, streaky shooter kasi tlaga yan kapag sumabog parang "Granada". At tiwala din ako pati ang teammates nya na tamang play ang gagawin nya.
Tumataas ang morale ng team dahil sa mga panalo na ganito, sana we can build on this win.
