After watching the scrimmage with 80% of who I have now, I am really hoping the last two guys can glue this whole thing together. The one thing I like about my new roster is that we can play defense. Only Papp and Bearden had good defense ratings in the past.

I did something different with my line up the last game. Interesting results, I had five players with 10+ rebounds. I also had eight players with 10+ points as well. It resulted in an even spread. Though I have to work on my defense, still giving up way too many points. Hope I can make a change in that by the end of the season.

I had been using the same theory game after game. Put all my best eggs on the court at the same time. I basically used player ratings and made both lines almost equal in strength. So some of my better players were on the second line. It aggravated me when I would get a big lead in a game. Then the coach put the backups in for the third and fourth quarter. They would score yes, but also give up a ton of points. I still have to work on my defense, giving up way too many points I think. I thought it was interesting that other players scored more and rebounded more with this. One game isn't conclusive that is for sure. I will be tinkering with lineups through out the season.

FINALLY, after three weeks I get my best PG back. He got injured early in the first game. He will be a huge help as he was head and shoulders above everyone at that position.

I don't know how I left my best SG out of the roster for tonight's game. Stupid mistake. :(

Seems like it wasn't too costly.
But wow I survived a real nail-biter against the Lincoln Hornets. I was in real trouble as I made the same gameplan mistake I made against the Seirinsclub, but glad my team pulled through this time.

Yeah, one missed basket or two free throws and it is a different game. You are the only one in your top four that won last night. Surprising to me, but so many teams seem to be in rebuild mode. I made a number of changes. I am hoping to unload my SG, that would free up a lot of salary room. In a protracted rebuild depending on how long my patience holds. Which usually as short as the fuse on a lady finger firecracker.

Come on guys, don't tell me nobody wants a strapping SG. Young, talented, priced low and doesn't eat a lot of salary. Okay that last part is what I am looking for. But this guy is very talented. Only reason I am letting him go is I have decided to build from the ground up. A building in progress puck up players as I go.

Lol I would consider him but I'm pretty low on cash/income atm after getting a new high-skilled trainer (I think I got him at a steal, even though his salary is a bit on the high side). I'm even thinking of unloading my PG, but I'll most likely wait till right before the playoffs to get more of a profit.

I'm afraid you're not going to get $400k for him. If I were you i'd plop him up for $1 and see what you get before the next economic update! :)
