Oh a little Cypress Hill huh? I used to have Black Sunday, great album, went missing when I somehow lost my whole little stash of gangsta rap that was around for when I was wanting to get a little aggro or to piss off all the old WASP out at the country club. My Tupac, my DMX, my Outkast my Biggie, my Snoop and Dre even Eninem's debut all went missing together, I think one of the Hoodlums who would come over for Madden night snagged it up, but we're talking like 16 years ago. Though we have https://youtu.be/Vs-i8sMG7h4 as one of the choices for the house DJ during timeouts.

But if want to play head games, we can go there https://youtu.be/KutXyPEEbQs lol

Then again the loss really did not hurt the boys, yes it puts us another game back of the upper division but there is still lots of ball to be played.

Plus last night I had to TIE as I am trying to scheme up a cup coup. Though like many of us here in the slaughterhouse could be looking at a blood bath for cup aspirations https://youtu.be/7L6L1NbJuIo

And then there was one left in the cup. Rest of III.5 got wiped out of the cup on Feb 8, leaving only Harrisburg left.
Looks like the rest of us can now focus full time on the league - whether that be winning it, or staying in it.

Cue: https://youtu.be/hJtfANIjmQM

Opening: a montage of bench shots from around the league, lots of hung faces, towels over heads, towels buried in faces, frowning fans.

Announcer: the 5th round of the cup was a blood bath as nearly half of the league met their fate. No rest for the weary however.

Our cameras focus tonight on the cave as the Nasties seek to slide back into the club red playoff picture.

All eyes however will be on the penitentiary as it's a battle of the teams atop The standings

Not to be outdone the two face off as the forecast for the new River Valley calls for a blizzard.

The winners will be looking to possibly move into a tie in the win column against a Shocks squad starting to look the hard face of relegation in the eye

Our last remaining cup participant the trafficers take on red hot Cal as the dogs with a bit of help could climb the ladder a little bit this evening.

Sparty could climb back to the top of the charts if things work out right, but at the very least they will keep pace and close the PD gap as the Claws ownership has split the scene for the time being leaving a disheveled crew to try and keep it together as 'corporate' is already making contact regarding absorbing the Claws.

The Lions and Mavs lock up in a potential relegation series preview.

And the Dream goes to the Coliseum seeking to solidify their postseason position while the nicked up Generals are nursing their annual post cup hangover trying to not lose any more ground to the upper division.

Also we will go behind the curtain for an expose on what goes on when corporate comes by when your team hosts a cup match.

The commissioner will be stopping by to give his state of the league address.

Plus it's another edition of Vox populi.

All of that and more on BB2night and it all starts now.

15 wins probably takes club red. 15 wins in the blues Magoo's might get the 4th seed. Ladson and Greensboro are in essence looking at a three game hole. Cal is full steam ahead. Blackgate is stout. Sparty and Deronimo could come back to the pack a little bit but three full games is a lot of wood to chop.

I think when it is said and done Cal will once again be the one standing tall in the blues. Blackgate gets the two slot, Deronimo third, Sparty will slip to 4th and the Lions and Generals will make them sweat but Sparty will hang on to the final slot. 5&6 is a coin flip with the game between them probably settling the matter though both at this point should settle on the happy side of .500. The bunnies are in great position to at least compete for a spot at the table for next season, while at weed head arena the shocks are down to the seeds and stems.

In club red the winners could play the role of spoiler, it's a rock paper scissors scenario in the top 3 teams. It will be interesting to see if the Nasties or Mavs can overtake the Dreams for the final playoff spot. Much like the blues the 5&6 is a coin flip though in this case both teams by my projection will be under the .500 mark. Harrisburg is a lock at the seven, it will be interesting to see if they make moves to be a problem in their RL. Same goes with the 6 matchup. While whomever is the five out of club red is by no means a shoe in against the Bunnies. And then there is the rotting corpse in the club fed basement, the only question now is if ownership is coming by to run the body to the morgue or do we have to go grab some shovels. https://youtu.be/n_W7DvKlsks

Another winning night for the Blues but not without a battle. Ladson and Sparty both had to Outlast their opponents. while Deronimo required some last second heroics and my Generals narrowly avoided a complete blunder as a game end chippie bounced away for the Nasties. Much like cocaine, HCA is a helluva drug though my teams performance suggested everyone was helping themselves to Tacchi's oxy script. But a W is a W.

All I know is the end as I pulled back up the last 10 seconds, tie game and your guy gets one with :02 left, opponent called TO but I didn't hang out for the rest as I already knew the end result.

Another 6-2 split last night. Though the two club red got have potential impact going forward. CC slips past the Bunnies by a point, this coupled with the shocks getting off the schnide make the race to the bottom in the blues very interesting all of a sudden. And Sparty falling at home to the kittens leaves the Generals and Lions suddenly in the rearview mirror and closing fast.

(A collage of images of various teams and players pass)

Announcer: as the slaughterhouse returns from the all Star break and the schedule whittles away the competitors clash with seedings and survival on the line each time out.

Tonight our coverage takes us to the litter box where club red head fiercekittens come face to face with the leagues hottest team in the bulldogs who are riding a ten game streak.

The Mavs seek to hold serve at home and to solidify their postseason standing as they face a Generals squad which is trying to play their way back to within reaching distance of the upper division of the blue bloods.

The bunnies seek to hold onto their now unsure grip on the seven spot with a trip to Harrisburg.

And the bunnies better hold on as the Shocks get the free lap against the claws

Deronimo seeks to keep pace in the win column against the Nasties.

Sparty has a dangerous trip to Atlanta on tap to face a dream team seeking to slide back into the playoff picture.

The Exiles also get a Stern road test with a trip to the winners on tap.

And The Young Lions of Ladson take on a blizzards ball club hoping that the end results of the evening place them back on level ground in club red.

Plus tonight we have a travelog of the NoCo or what I guess should be called the No-PAC. Actually I was in Charleston yesterday on appointments (my territory is DC to ATL) and I was out in that area, I never knew it was a real arena! Having the road coming in named Darius Rucker Blvd is a nice nod, though Hootie itself blows ass, there are not that many bands I am hostile towards but they are one of them. As for the complex i didn't go in but did make sure to get a picture of the front, nice looking arena. I can visualize in the BB universe where the niiiccceee upper middle class
Lions fans are sauntering in decked out in their lavender and lemon gear. Generals fans on the other hand, particularly the bleacher bums show up in a bit more eclectic garb https://youtu.be/QK8mJJJvaes

It's not weeeeewwwww it's WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The more drawn out the better. And if there is a city that should name the street in front of the building after "The Nature Boy" it is in front of that venerable old girl on Lee St oops "Gate City Blvd". In the old days of Jim Crockett Promotion's/Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling the 'Boro was pretty much the last Saturday night show each month, seems the rotation went Atlanta, Charlotte, Richmond, Greensboro. But Atlanta and Greensboro is where most of the biggest deals went down. Man Flair had some unreal feuds play out there, from he and Wahoo McDaniel chopping each other into Oblivion, to the matches with Ricky Steamboat which were revolutionary at the time and which are still examples unequalled in terms of combining athleticism with ring psychology. To him carrying fat ass Dusty Rhodes for years, to his battle with Harley Race at the first ever Starcade which is what led the WWF to come up with wrestle mania. And then for what was the true coup de grace when the four horsemen were formed and there was a little band of fans on the front row coined "front row section D" who were the first fans to get into cheering the heel wrestlers and who so influenced the tenor of the crowd that the Horsemen used to refer to the Coliseum as their "home court".

Now if your going to play the ECHL card I can Trump that as well. The Greensboro Generals 2nd incarnation was as a ECHL franchise from the late 90's to mid 2000's, though the original version from the late 50's-mid 70's is the more fondly remembered version. Now when I was coming up we got a new team in the 80's called the Monarchs and since my mother did the plants at the Coliseum back then I got comped to them as much as I cared to go. Actually several of the players had day jobs with Mom so we were pretty ingrained in the organization. I take it the E is now as it was then, full fledged goonery, a fight disguised as a hockey match. Man those were the days, rivals like Raleigh, Roanoke, Charlotte and yes Charleston led to lots of five minute majors. But then the Monarchs moved up to the ACHL, changed to Carolina monarchs, bought in guys actually getting groomed for the show and while technically more proficient it was no where near as much fun. Then the Canes came along, they did play in the Coliseum those first two years while the Raleigh area was getting built. That actually was really cool, they were a flop at the gate so tickets were cheap and easy. Got to see Gretsky play when he was with the Rangers, got a single for $15 and moved down and snagged a seat on the 3rd row directly on the goal line and watched him collect a goal and two assists all of which occurred at that goal. Another memorable night is when I took a date to a playoff game against the Bruins and we ate shrooms beforehand, and what made it even more trippy is (and CC appreciate this) the Canes bought in "Crazy George" to fire up the crowd. I have been to hundreds of college football and basketball games, about a dozen pro football games, a couple of NBA games, probably a half dozen NHL games,ACC tournament, NCAA tournament, final fours, bowl games etc etc, and that is still to the day both of those are in my top 10 of memorable moments.
