I see the points you guys are making. I guess I’m a perfect world everyone would put the exact price that they want for their players. Everyone’s suggested selling price would be normalized because of it. There would not necessarily be any “deals” to be had, since everyone would be at the price that the seller wants. There would be less flux in the “suggested” prices because everyone would list the highest price that they would take, and the smart ones would put the highest price that they think they could actually get. There wouldn’t be a steal to be had or a time of the day that you need to be up or online. I can see an argument for both sides. The guys who want the “steals and deals” will never want an autobid and the guys who hate to spend hours and hours here would want it. Maybe a compromise like the player will be listed for 3 days, and after 3 days the highest “secret” bid wins the player, when the clock reaches 0. There is still a chance someone wins with an underbid, and it gives 3 days for the player to be found and bid on by anyone interested. No extended battles or wars, just throw your best offer if you want him and see what happens.
