Small country is not equal to bad managers. But again that is not your problem. Is ours. Personally i am working really hard to improve my community. As i am sure that is happening to the other small communities. Again no affect on you.

Also we have same conditions on the market. CBBA has the same (and less) financial power as the Italian 1st division teams. The same goes to the lower divisions.

I am telling you again that if you have a legal way to make Cyprus community and make the competition for us higher (help the community to grow) i will be real happy to listen if not, you have no argument at all. In my eyes is pure complains for the hard competition that you face, but again thats not small countries problem.

I see my last post did not universally get 5 balls... Just so there is no confusion, go on the transfer list and search for the following:

-Canadian players with $30,000+ salary
-Italian players with $30,000+ salary

I know salary is not always a good measure of a player (those two Canadians on the transfer list are not ones I would buy) but I think you can get the idea.

Watching the boxscore between ESV Laim and djembe made me think a lot... I saw there was a really huge skill on the preparation for that match, really an impressive tactic from the small country team''

And the award to the best rookie in a small country team goes to: ''JohnnyB ¡¡¡¡'''

Small country is not equal to bad managers.

My congratulations.

Leaving the comedy aside, im going to try to comment something.

What comes to my mind is that the BB's(the goverment) have to make new economic changes, they cant let the community alone, they have to supervise and act when they think its going out of control... (Im sorry for my english but im not finding others words). What im trying to say is that the BB they should try to make changes to control the economy to an equal level more or less.

I mean i've seen the BB's hand on the transfer market to change the rising dinamic of it, for example the free agent comeback was in my opinion a good economic decision.

After reading Charles posts i can assume this: We are not going to chance the economy etc.

So the BB's use their invisible hand to control the market, but they dont use their invisible hand to make the things more balanced between small and big countrys?

I mean if you BB's pretend to dont touch the incomes of the small and big countrys, then dont touch also the transfer list market when this its going crazy, let them free, but acting in both directions its not the best solution, if you wanna change the direction of the economy do it in all the ways and if you think its better dont touch anything then dont touch the transfer list when this is rising.

After all this posts the JK solution was the best by far that I have read

So this is a funny post, the ones who complain:

-That BB's should act as the invisible hand to balance the unbalance between the small and big countrys incomes

And the others who defend: hey let the BB free of taxes or new economic changes, but after they accept the changes on the transfer list and thats a bit ironic

we're happy to let big countries and small countries argue about who has it easier or harder or about who's doing a better job managing their teams

Nice, you have perfectly got what has been said in this thread. Hope to see you and 3 minismallstan country teams fighting for the 4 best position in BB in 4 seasons time.

My... Am I really posting again in this thread??

For those stubborn small countries who seem not to get it.

Check my Transfer List: almost +10 mill (going to IV Spanish next season due to re-structure; currently no enormous income for having sold a player, actually I bought one for 3 mill; also, +300,000 in balance, and sure, no huge advance in my arena)

Check Gachai's Transfer List (sorry for the example): almost -22 mill, a "leader", with Siam Paragorn in Thailand.

Finally (I am afraid this is going to be about the last time I post in here), just please, imagine for a few seconds if my market skills would be applied to a small country's economy, and of course, the other way round (I do not really know where many of the rampant posting small countries in this thread would be if they had been for all these seasons in my boots. Spain has VI leagues...).

Fair enough

I just looked up the word hubris in the dictionary, and your name was after it. Different situations necessitate different approaches. The only thing I got from your post is that you are getting relegated.

well, i JUST take into account the actual numbers, it is nothing against you. my +10 is an actual +10. your minus 22 is an actual minus 22. i do not see the point in talking about "hubris", i think i have not provoked you, and numbers say I could post what I post ;)

you can get whatever you want from my post, anyway, it's up to you. i'm sure not everyone has a same reading over a post, and i don't particularly care of yours. again, it's nothing against you.

Edit: a recent example of a player, for whom I know top Spanish team had made a "market movement" to sign, and finally went overpaid to a Bolivian team (6702650) whose TL is worth checking http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/44514/transferhistory.as..., now plus -8,5 of this player
