Hey guys,

Since I have yet to see a post from Astra, I'm assuming that GM-Revo is 100% correct. If I am not mistaken, discussing GM's decisions can result in a forum ban, but if that would have happened, Astra's posts would have been deleted by a GM, which they are not. Anyway, the bottom line is we can either discuss players here as GM-Revo stated (meaning no name, no ID, no referrence to the TL and no prize should be stated in the posts) or we could continue the discussion on an offsite forum that has been made for several English communities (we've actually only just completed the making of it). I assume that since Astra has taken the matter to higher ups, that the BB's may have a rule revision, but that means that we'll still be waiting for a long time for the answer, or that soon the other communities will be following the rule as well. Anyhow, for those interested to discuss things on the offsite forum for the English communities, feel free to join here:http://w11.zetaboards.com/BB_ECU/index/. Thank you

i think you still dont understand it :) I never said Revo is not correct, I said exactly the opposite. he is totally correct. And this discussing GM decisions resulting in a forum ban would be the cream on my cake :) I hardly use it anyway but I believe in fair and equal treatment and freedrom off speech. And if they want to ban people for writing non aggresive non provocative non offensive posts than all i will do is celebrate because than I know the GMs and "higher ups" really dont follow the rules.

The NT coach and the U21 coach are allowed to post players. I think only the ones that are currently in the NT or in the U21, but i am not 100% sure about this. The same goes for scouts, I think they can make posts as well, but not perfectly sure how that works. The players that I posted were from the time when I still was a NT coach.

It is cool you created an off side forum. I hope many people will sign up and participate, unfortunatelly due to real life commitments, I do not have the time... But I am sure many other coaches will join up and take part in these discussions.

With regards to bringing up the issue with the "higher ups", I havent had time yet, got 2 new cats and they are a handfull. Trying to bring my cuban wife to europe etc, but next week I will certainly do this.

have a look at this thread. http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...

you cant tell me that all these players are NT or U21 players.

like i said, i have no problem at all when people want to follow the rules. especially when you are a GM. What I cant stand is to invoke the rule/ban for 1 forum where there are posted 4-5-6 players a season and, you allow it and do absolutely nothing against a forum where 4-5-6 a week and many weeks in a row players are posted. and than when you want to do your job well as a GM, and this is pointed out to you, that they do the same on another forum but alot worse and you do nothing, than all i can do is laugh...

do you now understand why i am so annoyed with Revo following the rules? I have nothing against Revo, I have nothing against the rules, but if you want to enforce the rules for the few players we post, than be "GM" enough and do it for all the countries.

I can post a link for the same kind off post for several other countries for example austria...

on top off what you said, most off these players arent being posted by the U21 or NT coach either

Hey Astra,

I completely understand what you are saying. Hell if you were to start a petition stating the rules must be followed everywhere, not just in some countries, I would be the first one to sign it. The fact of the matter is though, we have a GM who is caring enough to supervise our community, and you can't blame him for doing his job. If GM's in other non-English countries are allowing this to happen, then they most likely will not be GM's for long. You have done all you can do, and hopefully the higher ups will begin to address this issue. If not, they haven't heard the last of us; I'm sure of it. If you want to discuss players, you can just do what I stated above and join our offsite forum, where we can discuss them however we please. I would love to have you guys on there. Maybe the BB's will make a rule change, or maybe they will begin enforcing it in other communities. We'll just have to wait and see for now.

Drunk forum writing, interesting...

And don't worry, I accept your apology. Still man, if you were actually under the influence when writing that, I would just try to keep those types of messages to the minimum. As obvious from those four balls, it would be a damn shame if you were banned from the forums (half-sarcastic) :D

Also, that was a bit of a cheap shot but I honestly don't care. I am not the one to get offended easily.

Well glad that's cleared up (for now...). So, who wants to join the offsite forum? :)
