we're happy to let big countries and small countries argue about who has it easier or harder or about who's doing a better job managing their teams

Nice, you have perfectly got what has been said in this thread. Hope to see you and 3 minismallstan country teams fighting for the 4 best position in BB in 4 seasons time.

My... Am I really posting again in this thread??

For those stubborn small countries who seem not to get it.

Check my Transfer List: almost +10 mill (going to IV Spanish next season due to re-structure; currently no enormous income for having sold a player, actually I bought one for 3 mill; also, +300,000 in balance, and sure, no huge advance in my arena)

Check Gachai's Transfer List (sorry for the example): almost -22 mill, a "leader", with Siam Paragorn in Thailand.

Finally (I am afraid this is going to be about the last time I post in here), just please, imagine for a few seconds if my market skills would be applied to a small country's economy, and of course, the other way round (I do not really know where many of the rampant posting small countries in this thread would be if they had been for all these seasons in my boots. Spain has VI leagues...).

Fair enough

I just looked up the word hubris in the dictionary, and your name was after it. Different situations necessitate different approaches. The only thing I got from your post is that you are getting relegated.

well, i JUST take into account the actual numbers, it is nothing against you. my +10 is an actual +10. your minus 22 is an actual minus 22. i do not see the point in talking about "hubris", i think i have not provoked you, and numbers say I could post what I post ;)

you can get whatever you want from my post, anyway, it's up to you. i'm sure not everyone has a same reading over a post, and i don't particularly care of yours. again, it's nothing against you.

Edit: a recent example of a player, for whom I know top Spanish team had made a "market movement" to sign, and finally went overpaid to a Bolivian team (6702650) whose TL is worth checking http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/44514/transferhistory.as..., now plus -8,5 of this player

Is useless guys. For the advertisements of friendlies and players they have said that the rules must be the same for everyone, not for the economy: the nice thing is that even they have admitted that there is a difference, but they say:"we play in different leagues". But for the advertisements of friendlies and players, do not play different leagues? But then the game should be the same for everyone? decide: when it 's convenient yes, otherwise not.
The possibilities are 3:
1) join the leagues of small countries
2) less average earnings from their stadium(based on average salaries of the league)
3) create local markets: the small countries buy players from small countries and large countries buy players from big countries
4) in any case reduce the effect of a defeat

the difference is that you don't have closed forum, if you have a italian forum i am also to post there - so such decision also affect the german leagues and a lot others ;)

And perhaps, the system is the same for those countrys, there first league is like your one. And yeah there progress is faster in the beginning, but this shouldn't affect you much, because they don't buy regulary your players they also sell them when they buy better ones and the total number of player in their teams is very limited. But i won't change with them, because the easier start is because of less competition which is some kind of boring for me.

1. advertise the game is always good.

2. i think they shouldn't be punish for weak opponent, maybe making it depending on their team salary like Josef KA suppose.

3. As i said, they also say them, and they can not hold that much players ;) And they prefer buying their own players cause of marketing.

4. Could be also a solution, but i think only on BBB terms and maybe the possibility to catch up against oppnents who start a bit earlier.(or against opponents in a weaker conference)

This is a foolish thing to do, and I will try to show you why. Gerald Fitch is currently the leading scorer in the ACB at 19.8 ppg.
Here is a brief account of his NBA career:
After going undrafted in the 2004 NBA Draft, Fitch signed with the Washington Wizards prior to the 2004-05 season. He received playing time in the preseason, but was cut prior to the start of the regular season. Fitch then spent that season playing overseas in the Euroleague and the Ukraine Superleague. Prior to the 2005-06 season, Fitch signed with the Miami Heat, where he was used as third string point guard behind Jason Williams and Gary Payton. At the trade deadline on February 23, 2006, he was shipped to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Derek Anderson, and waived before ever playing a game for them. On March 7, 2006, Fitch was assigned to the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League. The following season he played for Turkish team Galatasaray Café Crown. On October 1st, 2007, the Detroit Pistons signed Fitch via free agency, but he was eventually released during preseason. At the end of 2007 he transferred to Pallacanestro Cantù.

Actually, the numbers are relative.
