Over the past couple of seasons, my league has started to get weaker. I could've promoted this season, but real life got in the way. Good thing is that it's still an active league.

yeah, my league has turned weaker too, in terms of Great 8 strength.......the Big 8 to me got stronger in IV.29..........but the Great 8 is starting to turn to crap after Bravados left. My team, which isn't one of the great teams in D4, is actually doing good at 4-2

goes to show how weak the G8 is, in terms of tactics (like a simple TIE or N)

I would lose to teams like Almdudlers, El Puerco Grande if we were the first ones to face in the 1st Season game.

But with my TIEing, I am able to beat these guys

I personally believe IV.6 has the potential to become a top-tier league, but has a long way to go. The league has a large number of mid-level teams, and all three of its sh*t teams should be relegated at the end of this season. the big 8 here is 8 solid mid-to-high level teams, and is actually a pretty tough conference, but the great 8 has the three bot-replacement teams, along with the league's D-3 demotee. If the middle of the pack teams that hold the remaining 12 spots in the league can improve a bit, they'll form one of the toughest leagues available. but they aren't there yet.

Funny you should mention how weak your Great 8 is because my league's Great 8 has been terrible ever since I got here.

haha

The Great 8 is pretty good with players

its just when it comes to tactics, their turrible.

thats why I'm #2 right now, stocking enth. and then exploit their weaknesses with tactics

I'm with you, Tough. I have the 3rd lowest team salary in my league, but I can compete in my Great 8 simply because of tactics. I'm sitting at 4-2 and second place as well.

I'll do my toughness rankings again, but not until the end of interconference play (Jan. 22), since I feel that it doesn't make much sense to do it until all teams have played each other once.

IV.30 continues to be tough. There's a great D3 demotee (marotto futebol clube) as well as a number of perennially tough teams from last season: Winter Haven, uthinkuknow, Ulderico Jazz, and a number of good teams in the middle. One noob makes it a little easier, but I think the overall level is up from years past.

Ok, here's my answers.

1. Not enough time to really manage my team.

2. Same as above, plus I need additional players.

3. I have over 1.5 million in my bank, so when I have some time I'll buy two beast's and whup everybody's ass.

Problem is I have no time to search for players, plan arena layout or research opponents.

Try to buy a 20-30k SF and a 25-35k PG with that money (Both should be 25 years of age or younger). It is much easier to pick up Big men and SG's than good quality PG's and SF's so it's best to get young good players in those two positions in my opinion.
